I can flip all the coaches breakers to off, unplug the frig and converter, and then turn on the inverter, it starts at 120 volts but quickly (less than 5 minutes) falls below 100 volts, then goes into overload.
Its not a battery issue, I had them load tested last week as I figured that was what it was and they still show a good charge after the inverter goes to overload.
Other than flipping it on and seeing that it worked (my mistake) we haven't used it since we bought the coach so I don't know if this is a new issue or has been a problem.
I felt around the inverter and it doesn't feel hot or anything.
Any thoughts other than the poor old thing has given up the ghost?

It sounds like it may be that the sensors are reading something that is not taking place. This has to be a very old unit and may have set for sometime without use. They don't like to sit idle.
On the front of the unit are two circuit breakers trip them both and see if it will reset on it's own. If not, than load it with a electric heater. Sometimes being heavily loaded will cure it's problems after setting for to long idle.
If all else fails Try calling Xantrex they are in Washington State. Heart Interface and another company went together and formed Xantrex years ago.

I would check all of the battery connections and cables- put a load on it and measure the voltage at different points between batteris and inverter.
