Going to be coming thru area in a week or so, only staying overnite, seems there used to be an area across the street from visitor center where a guy could dry camp for the night, anyone know if it is still there? If we decide to stay more then a night , we are looking at Blue Anchor RV, we have two big rigs traveling together, anyone ever stay there??

thanks

My brother and I stayed at "RV park by the Depot" nice park, I believe $25 for a FHU site. Had a rock lined creek running at the back of the sites. You can walk to the Historic distric downtown just a few blocks. We were tent camping on a motorcycle trip and was nice and quite. From what I remember Blue anchor backed up to the highway.

there is a campground at the crystal gold mine tour. nice place and clean. room for big rigs, and it's free. we stayed there for a week last summer. water at sites, but no power or sewer. a dump site is available on the premises. all the free firewood you want. nice shade trees. they like for you to go on the tour but it is not a requirement to stay there. they are very nice people.
