We very recently got a 2004 Prowler. My 2003 Silverado pulls the rv without difficulty but the back end of the truck is a little low. I've hear of load lifters or air bags to solve the problem but know nothing about them. Can anyone point me to a link or give some advice on the subject? Thanks.

I dont think load lifters or air bags will solve your problem. It sounds like you are overloaded. Not a safe place to be when it comes to controlling the RV.

Ride Rite air bags should do the trick.

I am wondering the same thing. We recently bought a hardly used 2004 Prowler Regal, and haven't got to pull it yet. Was looking into the air bags also. Our TV is a 2001 F250 Super Duty with 7.3 Power Stroke. Keep us updated on results. Would be interested to know your 5'er gross weight, ours is 13,500 lbs.

Air bags will do the trick, I added them to my 2500 to keep it level only have to have about 30 psi in them. Easy install no holes to drill except for valve stem

Put these on our van, and they worked great.

I have air lift on mine. I also have the on board air compressor as well as two inlets that come out at the rear license plate just in case the compressor fails. They actually hold the plate on. I've had it for years and i always ride level. Bob

The easiest solution is Timbrens. Takes about 20 minutes to install. No maintenance. Nothing to air-up. They work just like overload springs.

I agree 100% with Timbrens. I put Timbrens on in April 2005 & have pulled 30,000 miles with them. I pull a 38' Jayco Designer with a Duramax 2500HD. They work great.
