David, In my opinin it does make sense. Specifics are not needed but inclinations, goals, or intentions would be helpful.

I like the idea of a Saturday brunch since one of our favorite things to do when camping is to have a cup of coffee before we do anything else. We missed the smell of coffee in our "B" at B6. I also think having all the meals catered (including at least one barbecue) is important. I want to thank Asheguy for posting my nomination, including the pictures, on the B-7 site.

I can tell you what we are not going to nominate, my favorite place on Minnesota's North Shore, Grand Marais. I just spent the week up there the week after Memorial Day and the nighttime temps were down in the low 30s every night. If you like that, it is great.

I really like Anne's idea of a brunch. One of the best things, to me, about the past two rallies was having the meals catered. Arriving a day early still allowed me the opportunity to eat a "local" meal. The early bird hot dog evening was great too as it was a good time to just sit around and talk with people I had met the previous year.

I know barbecues are always appreciated by many of our well traveled "B" owners. For the barbecue at "The Villages" I will recommend "The Dinosaur Barbecue". For those that never heard of Syracuse's Dinosaur Bar-b-que, here is a recent headline. http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2........9/05/dinosaur_voted_americas_best_b.html

Excellent! Dinosaur Bar B-Que does catering. I had a "friend" who always wanted to take me to the NYC location, but I never made it there.
