Just to pick a nit, or for clarification. You have the certificate of origin, or a title? If you have an Ohio title I can see where TX sees it as used. If you have the COA then it would be considered new. Why not register it in Ohio and pull it with Ohio tags until they expire?

This has become more about registering a RV and not just a 5th wheel. Moved to Gen'l RVing Issues.

Just what we need more useless clutter....we need more posts on
* black tank odor
* will this truck pull this camper
* grey tank disposal
* eternabond tape
* adding a battery

Thank you for giving me something to read that was a little off the beaten path...good luck.

Don't forget.... fuel prices. Wow, that list could go on and on. I've been told a number of times to do the search thing. Maybe they shouldn't be reading the forums.

As far as having your trailer weighed... when we had trailers, they did not require them to be weighed, only inspected. We did it once in about 15 years. She could have been confusing it with a MH. Sounds like she was a little confused anyway.

I would check with another person in the registration department and you will probably get another answer.

I think sometimes we forget that the freedoms we have are freedoms not because of celebrities. The freedoms are because of ordinary people who did extraordinary things, who loved this country more than life itself.
