We have an '06 and we love our floorplan.
Alas, we have had some trouble but nothing more than any of the other brands. Pilgrim is out of business so make sure the dealer that has it will take good care of you after the fact.

We bought the entry level line from Pilgrim (model called Pilgrim) based on several friends satisfaction with their Open Roads. We've been very happy with ours Pilgrim and friends are happy with their Open Roads.

We do not have an Open Road but have looked at several models. They have some very good floorplans. If the price is right it will make a very good unit for you. We have seen several on the road this past couple of years. Have been by their plant several times. Looked like a small operation. That is probably why they were not able to survive the recession. They were one of the first to fall.

We have a 2005 Open Road 357. Ours has performed very well and we have no regrets buying it.

The only problems you are likely to have with a 5th wheel relate to the appliances. There are only a few manufacturers of appliances and they are still in business. So you shouldn't have any problem getting replacement parts for the items that might fail.

The 357 Open Road is a nice unit. I traded my 2004 356RLKS in on a 2009 366. Took delivery on it about 3 weeks before Pilgrim went out of business. Open Road is a well built trailer, and I don't think you will be dissatisfied with it. The only Open Road problems I've heard about, on this forum, is with the welds on the Lippert frames, but, it seems the fix is not expensive, if you have a problem. I've not had a problem with either of mine. My 2004 burned-out a couple of slide-out motors, but, again, an easy fix.

We had a 06' 357 and it was a fine unit. It had the squeak in the floor that many had or have but it really never bothered us. We saw a 3670 Bighorn and loved the all in one bath and bought it for our longer stays comming up in the near future. No problems, good units!!!
