It was reasonalbly priced and fairly water proof. I does not take up any space in the bed at all when flipped open making for more storage in the bed for chairs, etc. Once the truck is unhitched, I can close the cover and lock the gate. Roll it back when towing; roll it closed when unhitched. You do not eveb know the hotch or anything else was in the bad of the truck. I like their customer service help as well. It works well. It is robust and can take damage and still work. (personal experience ) I bought it originally for our '03 Silverado and it's now on our '06. It is a bit on the heavy side and doesn't totally weather proof the box, but it is reliable and simple. I am on my second one and am totally happy. Oh and mine is nearly totally water tight when closed. Hitch is almost always installed in the truck and the cover closes over it easily. I have an early one that took a couple of mods to correct some errors in it, but now works just great. I have seen the Fold-a-cover and think it will be my next one. One good part about the BakFlip is that it will fold up flat against the rear window, allowing full use of the bed. The fold-a-cover has to be removed (not that big a deal though). The Fold-a-cover is ready made for their tool box and is great for towing a fiver. It also seems to remove easily when you want to use the full bed.
