The 'where' is in the post you quoted. Here it is with pictures (made using the RV.Net portal.)
Click on the "My Forums" link.
Click on the "My Preferences" link.
Click on the Browse button
Find the picture on your computer. Reminder, the picture must meet the size requirements mentioned in the post you quoted.
Scroll to the bottom of the preferences page and click on the Submit Changes button.

Signatures can have only one picture. Where it appears that a signature has more than one, the pictures were combined before uploading.
If you are not familiar with combining pictures and would like a combined picture, I'll do it for you. Send me a PM.

You have place a rig picture in your profile. Profile pictures are not displayed in signatures.
Signatures are created and edited on your forum preferences page.
Click on the My Forum's link.
Click on the My Preferences link. (It is located just to the left of the My Profile link.)
Note: The picture you uploaded to your profile page is too large for a signature. Here are the maximums for signatures:
Width = 500 pixels
Height = 100 pixels
File size = 30 KB
If you need help resizing the picture, send me a PM.

I also am having trouble posting my pic and sig. When i preview my profile they are there, when i post they are not there!
For us working folks, you've got the money to camp, but no time, or you've got the time but no money!!

Although there is a picture in your profile, you have not added a picture to your signature. Signatures are created and edited on your preferences page, not the profile page. The link for the preferences page is just to the left of the link for the profile page.

In regards to the signature that you do have not showing: You will need to change a preference setting.
You need to put a check in the box at the bottom of the signature section on your preferences page.
Note: Since late last week, the forum's picture server has not been accepting signature pictures. I check a few minutes ago and the technicians have not fixed the problem.

Is the server accepting sig pics yet. Every time I try, it errors out on me. It deleted my old pic, but will not download my new pic, which i resized down to acceptable size. Thanks for your help.
