In still fine tuning my draw-tite #3203 weight dist. head with the dual cam. I was wondering what the most common angle off of verticle, or the number of washer spacers everyone uses for their set up??? Setting mine still up at the dealers as I still don't have the trailer. I am 7 degrees off verticle, or using 7 spacer washers at the present time. What angle, or number of spacers do you guys use. I know every persons set up is different, but just curious if there is a common angle, or number of washer spacers. Schepp.

I believe it is whatever angle is required for your weight distribution bars to remain parallel to the trailer frame when they are set to the position where they settle your vehicle evenly front and back.

It depends on the hitch weight and the height - different on about all applications. Mine is about 7 or 8 degrees.

I know this is a silly question, and I am just wondering, or I guess you could say nosey, but why don't you have your trailer at home with you yet? You been going back and forth to your dealer and posting questions for about 2 weeks now. Wouldn't all this be easier if you took your trailer home? Just wondering, if it's none of my business, just say so. Won't make me mad.

The reason I haven't thken it home it a very long story with the dealers and recently switching a trailer that had a lot of rust on it that I flat out refusae to take off the lot. So I started to install the wt. and dual cam set up all over again. Because they had never seen or done one before so they say. Plus before I ever take it off the lot I want to inspect it to make sure everything is working correctly before I take it home. Plus I have to have at least 500 miles before towing on the new car. There were a lot of little problems that keep poping up and I want to get it right if I can. No you are not being nosy I am just playing it very cautious, cause I know full well the minute I leave with the trailer if I later need servicing I will really have a big problem. Right now I just have to get the wt. dist. set up right which is the big problem now. See another posting, and then it's mine at last!! Schepp.
