I have to agree with the speed sensor on top of the rear end. My did the same thing same lights no speedometer. Napa had the part I think it was like has been said a 20 dollar fix. Was not hard to change out if you need more information on doing it I can send you a email. Good luck.

There is a large mark-up on campers. Did I say large? I would bet that the dealer is just going to lose some of the mark up he is not going to go broke on the deal he is just not going to make as much profit on the sale. Your beef is with the dealer who signed a contract and said a price not lance they are not going to do anything for you other than tell you to deal with the dealer. I would go with the North Star if for no other reason the customer support that they offer. You can talk to one of the owners with just a phone call and they are a company that has been in business a long long time. Just my 2 cents worth.

I use a product from www.5starhappycamper.com it works great for me they have stuff for both the gray and black tanks there is no odor what so ever. I am not connected to this company in any way just saying the the product works for me.

RE: What to look for when buying used
When you go into the RV smell for any thing that smells like mold or mildew. Also grab the jacks and give them a good shake and see if the seem lose. Also I like to push on the sides with my fist and see if there is any give any place that I feel there may be water intrusion, site down the side for delimitation. Good luck.

Thanks Mkirsch you got my mind in the right place now. I was thinking that the water was coming out of the fresh water fill. I did not pick up on the fact it was coming out of the city water hook up just my old mind and eyes not reading right, guess my brain had something to do with it too. Hell to get old. Thanks.

The water pump is made to suck water out of the fresh water tank I don't know why the water pump would put pressure into the tank. Am I wrong in my thinking on that? Thanks.

Your old one is just like the one that I had. I put in one that had like 4 wires that I got at Lowe's was like 20 dollars. I just did not hook any wires to the other terminals on the thermostat just the two that I needed which were in the directions. Pick one up take hit home give it a try if it does not work for you take it back. Home Depot and Lowe's are great about returns.

Call some dealers that are in your area or at least not to far away. Sounds like you know what you want and tell them what you are looking for and then call the next one and so on get the best price from each one. Tell them you are price shopping and checking all dealers for the best price. Good luck and sorry to hear that you got a temporary slow down on your purchase.

RE: Suspension on F350
I have a 2000 F250 and I put Timbren and Rancho Shocks on my truck I was sitting about inch and a half low in the back with the camper on the ride was rough and jolting when I hit a bump. I added Super Springs and left the Timbrens on. Now when the camper is loaded the Timbrens do not even come close to touching and the rough part of the ride with the camper on is not there no sudden jolts like before. You might give Super Springs a call and talk to them. Super Springs did the trick for me. Of course my truck rides rough but I have 19.5 tires which are not made for a comfortable ride any way.
