RE: What did you do to your Class C MH today???

Twice this week had to go out and put the tire covers back on, due to the high sustained winds, almost 60mph. Knew that I should beplace them, so thats what I did today, order a new set, should be here sometime next week.

RE: wheel valve exts

Hi ya Matt, I use the I believe they are called Air Master extensions, stainless steel braid on the out side. I had them on my dually for a long time hauling a very large slide in truck camper.and did not have any trouble with them, when I sold the dually I took all my add ons off. I installed these on the C, and again no trouble. It sure makes ckecking that inside tire a lot easier. I was able to install them without removing the wheels. I didn't know my wrist would bend in that kind of angle, but it did. You will be happy that you put them on your rig. At the cost of replacement tires, this is almost a must add on.

RE: 15 + mpg with V10 in 29 footer?

Hi we have a '03 Gulfstream, 29.5', with the V10, and usually get around 9-10mpg, NEVER above that, we usually drive at 55mph only. In hilly country, I just fill it more often. Its only money. GGGGGEEEEEZZZZZZZZZ I would love to get 15mpg with the V10.But I don't think that will ever happen.

RE: What did you do to your Class C MH today???

Well we will be having a chat!!!!!! Some neighbor critter got up under the C and chewed not one but six holes in the gas line that brings gas from the chasis tank to the generator, I guess the critter likes rubber, and as you know a generator will not run on air. Yep we will be having a chat.
Replaced the orginal taillights with LED's, WOW, you better have sun glasses on when behind my C. HOLY COW, you could easily see these a mile away.

RE: What did you do to your Class C MH today???

GGGGEEEEZZZZ Hot and Humid here in the mid-country, oh well fall and winter are on their way. Right?
Replace the shock on the steering, the other just felt soft like it was not working right, the new one made a differencd, Patch a hole in the roof where a limb out of the neighbors tree fell and poked about a 1" hole trough the roof, I got lucky went up to the roof to clean it and found the hole before the next storm came through, also got lucky the branch hit right behind the sky light over the shower. Yep lucky!!! That big old tree maybe 70-80' tall, huge canopy, will be coming down in the next couple of weeks says the neighbor, some bad stuff up high and some rot at the base, there is a huge branch tore out by a recent storm that did not make it to the ground, hung up in the tree, good thing beccause it would have got the car or the C, maybe my garage also. Will miss the shade that this tree provides, now the C will sit in the sun most of the day, but won't have to deal with sap anymore and the C should stay cleaner.
