Yes.....when we look at campers, if anything (other than refrigerator, it is not so bad) is is vented in the awning area of where we would sitting outside, then it is out, no need of even considering....windows..dont have to have alot but I do want more than 1 or 2.. thats why when I found my Jayco 31 Rks, I knew it was perfect! lots of room, lots of windows, nothing vented under awning, plenty of cabinets..this starts our 4th summer with it and I am still happy!

RE: Family friendly site around Pigeon Forge, TN
We stayed at Claboughs in Pigeon Forge...loved it. lots of room at the site we were at, not packed on top of one another. It is not far from the main road at all. The staff was extemely helpful and friendly. Older campgrpund, so the trees for shade were nice. when I go back to the moountains, I would stay there again!

one night better than none...my camper is usually ready to pull out at any moment...just grab clothes and go..if I was going only for one night..i would pull thru quick fast food, grab dinner and head to campground..we only get to weekend camp..and sometimes by the time we get off work on friday and to campground..we basically only have one good day there..the main campground we use is only 10 mins from home....but a short weekend makes for a great get away..as I type this at work..my camper sets loaded and ready to roll at 530 for another weekend away...making memories that last a lifetime!

RE: US45 Alabama & Mississippi
Hwy 45 from Mobile to the Mississippi state line is still 2 lane.....once you cross into MS you will hit 4 lane hwy...just make sure you have a full tank of gas leaving Mobile.. there is a new gas station/store along that route, just can't remember exactly where..I think it is befor you get to Meredian...you will not go into Meredian unless you want to...45 by passes it now....we were thru there last summer, route was pretty good...have a safe trip

I am so excited...camping season begins!
Finally...the Jayco is sitting in the drive way, just waiting for me to get home from work and get it loaded for the weekend...the best part is we have new camping buddies this season..oh what fun this camping season will be...can't wait until tomorrow and 5:00 when I get to head out to the campground...let the fun begin!!

Topsail Hill- Destin...wonderful weekend...had been 2 yrs since we had been there, love the new entrance into the park..the tent area was nice..could not believe how many cabins they had added..I just wish they would build something at the boardwalk, like lockers to rent, to store our beach stuff in..there is definately enough room down there..

We will be staying home,due to DH needs to service truck and TT for our trip to San Antonio in 3 weeks..so we better take advantage of the time off, since he has pulling alot of Saturdays here lately..hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday.
