RE: Keystone Laredo Quality

We have a 2011 266RL and have had no problems at all. We are very satisfied with it.

RE: hard start capacitor

I had a hard start capacitor put on my 2011 Laredo 266RL today. The tech was all excited to see it work since he has a FW and a Honda 2000i also. I went to pick up the trailer and took my Honda with me. We tried it 4 times with nothing else on in the trailer. Kicked the breaker on the gen every time. Oh well , worth a try.

RE: Need New Battery

I use the Walmart Max w/205 min reserve cap. I am using this on a TT that is set up permanently on a site with no hookups. I stay in this unit from 45 to 60 days a year. The battery I am using has been in use since 2005.

hard start capacitor

Has anyone installed a hard start capacitor on your 2011 Laredo 266RL air conditioner. Does it make it possible to run your AC with a Honda 2000i? If so which capacitor did you use? I would appreciate your input.

RE: secure tonnage cover

We are getting close to buying our 1st 5er and the Suites are the winner in our search. Our pickup is to arrive soon and I want to put a secure tonnage cover on it but one that works with a 5er. I have read this and other forums of what others are using and had come down to the back-flip or the G5 Elite Fold-a-Cover. However I have run into a snag. The pickup is a GMC 2011 Dually. For the G4 their site says it will not work with a Dually. The G4 was top on our list as I had read that those with the back-flip could not see to back up to hitch up as the cover had to be in t flipped up position. One other comment I have had the roll up type and was trying to avoid the box in the front of the bed this time.
So, help, Have others made the G4 work on their dually and was it difficult. Or does someone have another suggestion of a secure cover I should look at that works with a 5er?
I use a back-flip cover. My solution when hitching is to fold the cover fat to the rear without fliping it up against the rear of the cab. I use two wooden rods about 2 feet long with rubber tips on them to prop the folded cover up enough to clear the hitch head. After I hitch I remove the the rods and fold the cover up against the rear window and secure.
