RE: Good Report On "Coach Net"

I have used Coachnet 4 times. Super service each time. Tremendous improvement over AAA.

RE: Redwood slide in slide

Looks like Redwood RV is coming out with a slide in slide for the bedroom to give more room between bed and dresser, 40" according to website. Here is a link to some pics of it. Looks like queen bed, would be nice if king available. Saw they also are coming out with the Blackwood, which has some new features such as a door seat when you come in with a area cut out for dog bowls underneath. At least some company is trying to think outside the box, no pun intended.
So why use 2 sides that accomplish the same thing that you could do with just one ?????

RE: Battery desulphation

I keep all three of my RV batteries connected to a battery maintainer anytime they are not in use. I have a smart charger that I use to bring the batteries back to full charge after use. I charge them @ 2amps. Two of these batteries are 4 and 5 years old and perform just as new. Before I started using the maintainer I could never get batteries to last more than about 18 months.

RE: tire pressure

I appreciate the responses. The truck has 275/70/18 LRE OE Continental tires. The door sticker does not list alternative inflation levels.

tire pressure

My door sticker says to inflate my tires to 65 psi. The sidewall of the tire says max load 3640 @ 80 psi. Whick figure should I use ?

RE: Something Ascue; small leak

Had a small leak in a rain storm when I picked up my Coachman 25 foot fith wheel. Spent an afternoon on the roof sealing structurs and anspection. I notice that there was a littl danage on the rear of the tip out unit at the bottom rear, like someone hit it, back backed it into something. Then notice the the top rear seal has a small gap (from too much gap) the allows space between the slide seal and the slide itself. And at the top from of the slide-out, opposite, the seal has an extreame bend with little to no gap at the top. This is with the slide in or out. My simple mind thinks that hitting it with the front might straighten it back out, but I know that isn't the thing to do.
My question is, is there a frame rail adjustme nt I can make to correct the slide-out ascue or do I have to weld/bend something back? Any input would be a help, expecially from someone who went threw this already.

SPELL CHECK !
Is SPELL CHECK a new requirement to ask for advice here?
Will proper grammar be next?
Spell check is not a requirement. It just makes your post much easier to read. It is as easy as clicking the box.

RE: Purchasing Tire Air Compressor???

I carry a 12v 150 PSI compresser purchased from Harbor Freight item # 66399, for around $60-$70. It works fine for me. I also carry a 24v cordless impact wrench.

RE: Propane smell in oven when off

You might want to check to see if the control knob for the oven has a position marked pilot. If so the oven could have been turned off but the pilot left on without being lit.

RE: hard start capacitor

I had a hard start capacitor put on my 2011 Laredo 266RL today. The tech was all excited to see it work since he has a FW and a Honda 2000i also. I went to pick up the trailer and took my Honda with me. We tried it 4 times with nothing else on in the trailer. Kicked the breaker on the gen every time. Oh well , worth a try.

RE: Need New Battery

I use the Walmart Max w/205 min reserve cap. I am using this on a TT that is set up permanently on a site with no hookups. I stay in this unit from 45 to 60 days a year. The battery I am using has been in use since 2005.

hard start capacitor

Has anyone installed a hard start capacitor on your 2011 Laredo 266RL air conditioner. Does it make it possible to run your AC with a Honda 2000i? If so which capacitor did you use? I would appreciate your input.
