RE: Seattle I-5 N to S or 405

If you come back through see if you can find out what events are going on in the area- thats when 405 is a wise decision

RE: Coleman Mach III Heat Strip

I use this in campgrounds that are noisy- the AC provides a great "White" noise and the heat strip can warm up the cool evenings

RE: Safety question re. class C's

No RV will survive a roller over impact- its basically a big box on a chassis- some makers use metal other wood depending on years.

RE: I'm a Student looking for information

There are some current Owners of Properties here on the site- see if you can identify them and get feedback- what RV'er want to not always tie into the bottom line- is there a "draw" to the area you want an RV park in?

RE: Typical Class C Owner?

Just entering 40, 2 kids, 3m and 18m and we used it as an excuse to continue our outdoor activities longer and have a base camp farther away from home. In the 3 years we've had the 24' class c- we've covered Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon, and a few places in alaska. We use it about every other week in the summer and usually take 2-3 week long trips.

RE: Can a class c tow a travel trailer?

Depends on the chassis- my 24' winnebago can haul 5000lbs but only had 350lb tongue weight?

RE: Just started, please help!!

Read your owner manual for the jeep- some years say disconnect the battery. Some do not need a key as there is no steering whell lock

RE: Does 2012 Jeep Liberty Show Towed Miles?

The speed sensor is electronic and on the tailshaft of the transfer case- It may spin but the machine won't pick it up.

RE: Reminder to backup computer

anytime something spins (harddrive) it will fail you just don't know when, there are cosumer grade hardware intended to run a few hours a day and enterprise hardware that runs 24x7x365. Backup media usually has a point where the data isn't guaranteed either- so there are lots of ways of backing stuff up most people have covered it here- but keeping multiple copies in different locations are your best bets. I can't remember how many times I have lost things, but a back-up plan saved everything- When it comes to data recovery how much are you willing to spend is really the question. There is always someone willing to get your data for a price- if it means a steril room and reconstructing your harddrive- or just put the drive in an external drive carrier and mount it from a system that boots an operating system.

RE: Best tow vehicle for 2012

RE: Jeep Transponder Key

Its baloney- I have an 06 wrangler- I had keys cut too- I also purchases some "extra" sentry keys from ebay- had them cut- and you can program them yourself if you have the two original keys. You can also take the spring out of the steering wheel lock like I did- The jeep will start if you put the correct key back in.
