A can of hornet spray we keep to use as a defensive tool if we have an intruder. We don't have guns so this may be the next best thing

RE: Bio-diesel... any issues with using this fuel?

In Canada biodiesel is only from from April 1st to September 30th as it will not work in winter, DFc will not fix it. DFC makes it worse.
I am bulk fuel dealer so I know.
If you plan on driving in temps of 40° or less, don't. Bio-diesel will cloud and clog filters at that temp. There are so many negatives with bio-diesel that I will NOT use it for any reason.
Sorry, dude, but that's bullfeathers.
I note that most places that offer it around the country, offer concentrations no more than 5%. It is possible to find it sometimes up to 20%, but you really have to go out of your way to find greater than that. That being said, I've run 50% and greater concentrations in two vehicles, through the winter here in Virginia, where it sometimes gets down in single digits, with no problems. So whoever told you 40° or less was trouble was full of bullfeathers, too.
.......................................................................................For what it is worth, the makers of both my vehicles specifically say no more than 5%. But I've put over 100,000 miles on the two combined on higher concentrations.
Be aware that there are several states, .......,Pennsylvania, .......among them that require concentrations between 2% and 11% in diesel fuel sold in those states. If you've bought diesel fuel there in the last year or two, you've used it, you just didn't know it."Bullfeathers, too" but Pennsylvania does not require any percentage of Bio-diesel in the diesel fuel sold at the pumps!!! I think your thinking of the junk that they put in the gas - Ethanol, not the diesel!!! And biodiesel will gel when the temps get cold. There are processes to prevent it but about the best it will do is down to "-5 deg C (23 deg F) without gelling", below that and you are on borrowed time! And that ain't Bullfeathers!!!

RE: Bio-diesel... any issues with using this fuel?

Whith biodiesel do not use more diesel conditioner then what it says on the bottle to use. DFC usage is when more is not better. Too much dfc and it coagulates the bio part of the diesel in to a white creamy looking substance in the bottom the tank which then will clog the filters. Bettor off not using dfc at all,

RE: Cummins water in fuel

Mine will do that if I drive when it is raining or wet road. Soon as the road is dry light goes out. Moisture on plug on bottom of filter causes light to come on.

RE: How to charge batteries if to low for inverter to charge

Most batteries chargers have a built in polarity checker so that you cannot accidentley connect the charger polaarity wrong. if the batteries are stone dead the charger cannot not detect thecorrect polarity it will not charge. Easy solution is hook up booster cables to dead batteries with a good battery and charger will sense the polarity and start to charge.

IMO track bar with leaf springs won't make much of a difference. Coil spring or air suspensions needs a track bar.
