RE: ~Post your campsite photos here~

We stay in High Falls State Park (hope this is the one your asking about, there is a private owned park with the same name) on our way north yearly, beautiful well kept park.

Love seeing more than one picture, gives a better idea of what the place is all about...

RE: Georgie Boy Pursuit Owners - 2005

We have a 2004 GB Pursuit and have had this problem in the past. My solution was to remove the connecting tube that connects the shaft to the motor, re-drill a 1/4 inch hole in the pipe, put it back on. You can purchase a 1/4 inch steel roll pin, and tap it back in. (Tractor Supply sells these) I have not had to replace this in years. The problem is the hole gets wobbled out and there is to much play in the hole. Tried other things but this is the one that worked. Hope this helps, if you have additional questions, ask away.

RE: Florida Keys Camping Suggestions

Blue Water Key has all your looking for and is a beautiful resort, really pricey at that time of year though.

RE: "on the road" internet equipment

Use Verizon Android smartphone and teether through pdanet, http://junefabrics.com/android/. Pdanet is free with ads, I paid a onetime fee of $15 to use with no ads. Never had a problem connecting as long as I have phone service. We are not full timers so it is used for roughly 10 days a month, the only cost is my phone bill of $62 which I would pay anyway.

RE: Whip-poor-wills

We have never heard them except in the spring here at home. We have one that sits on top of my roof peak and whipporwills his heart out every evening from mid March to mid May. We love him:)

RE: Good news For Florida RV'ers

We live very close to Honeymoon Island and go often. It is a beautiful park and I believe adding camping would be a great asset to the area. That being said I'll be surprised if it happens. It's been on the table several times and the people that live in the condos on the approach to the park, have a very organized, vocal group that does not want it. They show up to the meetings in droves and have won every time it's been proposed. Honeymoon is large enough and since the state owns it this relatively small group should not dictate what goes on there. Maybe this time will be different, would be a beautiful place to camp and enjoy the park.
