RE: British Columbia tolls

Ontario has the ETR407 toll road around Toronto that operates with no toll booths also. They send you a bill later, even in the USA. There is no idea of what the toll is until you get the bill but do not try to take a MH on the road. They can stop you as often as they want and give a fine for not having a transponder. When I got my bill they only accepted Visa and Master Card. I only had Discover and AMEX. When I called they would not accept a check. After sitting on hold for many minutes the girl came back and said just forget about it. I can do better just going through on 401 in the middle of the day. FORGET IT ! We got the bill and it was $68 US for the MH and $42 for the truck until they released that I was towing the truck then the lowered the bill to $110 US. Yep, same price for one as for two. When I refused to pay they contacted South Dakota and SD told me I owe $110 for the ticket and $25 fine for getting SD involved. This was in 2005.

RE: Closed Topics Discussion

There are many many political based forums all over the internet. Why must a sponsored RV website become another one? We pay nothing to use this site and as far as I know the mods get paid nothing to mod. The least that we can do is follow the wishes of those that pay for and allow us to use THERE forum. THERE = THEIR

RE: No Power in whole Rv...

Battery disconnect switch first. Invertor breakers located on side or front of invertor second. Check all battery levels third. Forth, if this fails shoot it and take the saddle.

Air pressure

This is a campground discussion regarding "Class A" tire pressure. Some of the folks are saying the air pressure should be set while the tires are cold and some say the tires should be set after driving for and hour or so and they are hot. The folks that say hot so the tires are not over inflated when they get hot and the cold folks say all pressure should be done cold by the manufactures specs. What say you?

RE: chassis: freightliner vs roadmaster ????

I have an 08 Camelot with an RR8S and it is the best ride I've experienced except for a Marathon but it was $3.4M. The RR8S hugs the road and does not sway in high winds but will travel if the wind does go above 50 if hitting from the side. I would lok more at the coach part than the chasses.

RE: No electric

I assume you checked the breakers inside? Did you check the GFI protection on the outlets? Agree, start with the GFI should be in the bath area and then all the circuit breakers. Also make sure the batters is in good working condition. If the battery is out, the lights, heater, etc will go out. Hope this helps.
