Well got through reading about the lawsuits against ford a little earlier. Man its a beautiful truck to have such a blackeye. Don't sound to promising. Think I will keep my eyes peeled for a chevy or dodge.Thanks mike

Any good 6.0 fords or go with other brands?
Been looking at used diesels. Is all 6.0s bad? is 05 and 06s more trust worthy?are they better if a aftermarket egr and oil cooler is installed? Found a clean 05 with 100k miles on it. what is yalls opinion am I safe or go on to less miles or another brand? Thanks mike

Thanks was looking at a certain time period and that and small sites at pool is all that is available. I think the sites might be large enough I just was concerned about how close the trees was and the parking lot for the laundry. Thanks mike

topsail site 52 and 51
Hi has anybody stayed on these lots at Topsail? They was rated at 20 ft max trailer length and length of drive was 34ft. Just wondered if a larger trailer was possible or if the parking lot in front of the sites limited backing in. Thanks Mike

Thanks for all the great information. especially the way to tell the engine and rearend. Thats my problem the debt load and I have always been a diehard chevy man. But with gas high and new diesel emissions I have been trying to see if I could find a good used one, the dealer is about a 2.5 hour drive away and with the job hours have not been able to look at in person yet. Going to try next week. Dealer told me it was one owner and only problem was a cracked dash. They also have a 04 that looks good and is lower mileage with a manual. but 5k higher price. But like I said I have never owned a dodge but sounds like they are worth it with mpg like that. thanks Mike

pros and cons of 2003 dodge cummins?
Just doing a little vehicle looking found a quad cab 2003 dodge slt 2500 cummins diesel with little over 100k miles. Any pros or cons of this vehicle year? Oh forgot to mention it is a auto tranny. What is gas mileage for a daily driver? 18 or better? Thanks
