Tires load range "d" vs "e"

Ok needing new tires for my truck. Can someone tell me what is the difference between a load range "d" tire and an "e" if they have the same max load rating per tire?
I know max pressure on the "e" is 80 psi and 65 psi for the "d", and the "e" is a little heavier built, but anything other than that?
Can I get by with the "d" if the load rating is up to par on that tire?
I don't do a lot of driving, I'm looking at probably less than 5,000 miles per year, and not a lot of towing as we camp locally most of the time although we will have about one trip a year that around 250 miles one way. Other than that it's less than an hours drive, usually way less.

RE: Tripod?

I asked this on here too before I got mine. It was pretty split as to what people said. Some said they didn't work, some said they worked great. So I gambled and got one. (Cheapest I could find was the one at Cabela's, $89, and free shipping if you do the ship to store.)
My observation is that the tripod helped remove a pretty decent amount of sway and movement, but it doesn't remove all of it. For me it was enough to justify spending 89 bucks.

RE: LED TV?

I was wondering how you travel w/ the television. Do you use the straps to mount it, or do you pack it up in its' original box ea. time. I wasn't sure due to the bouncing on the TT on the road.
Here is what I did with mine. Permanent mount and lots of storage for videos behind it.

Very Nice!
Would you mind posting a picture of your setup with the door open and how you mounted the TV to the wood?

RE: What was the deal with the roof?

The wind doesn't need to get "under" the membrane. The vacuum created by the wind rushing over the top will pull and stretch the membrane up if it is not glued sufficiently.
Glad mine is aluminum!
This is what the ones I saw appeared to be doing. Didn't look like there was any air under the roof but it looked like it was being "sucked up."

What was the deal with the roof?

On my way home today to Northern Illinois, I was travelling through Eastern Iowa. About an hour apart I saw two campers with the same roof issue. One was a fifth wheel and the other a travel trailer. The roof on each one had a huge bubble in it towards the front and it looked like the roof was going to come off, however it was still attached at the front of the unit. So it appeared it just had a huge bubble in the rubber roof at least a couple feet tall and three or four foot in diameter.
I don't recall ever seeing this in all my years going up and down the road and thought it was odd I saw it twice so close together. (Maybe I just missed it before) Neither unit looked that old.
Anyone out there know what the problem was or have a good guess what the deal was?
