RE: TrailAir Pin Box

Does the 5th Airborne raise the front of the trailer? Don't really need that because I'm a little nose high now and no more adjustment in pin box area.

RE: TrailAir Pin Box

Just got a price for the Fifth Airborne of $953 with tax and shipping. Is this a good price?

TrailAir Pin Box

Looking to smooth out my ride in my truck a little. On concrete roads it seems like the trailer and truck combo slams the joints on the road. It makes the rear of the truck ride real hard. I have air bags on the truck but run min. air preasure to keep the trailer running level. Thinking about getting a TrailAir pin box. Would like to hear from people with this or other pin box modification. Is it worth the money and does it really smooth out the ride? My truck is a 2007 Dodge 3500 MegaCab Dually.

RE: Understanding weights (specifically 3500 mega cab)

I have an '07 MegaCab dually with the 5.9 CTD and 3:73 gears. Pulling a 36' fithwheel with the dry hitch weight of 1700 lbs, unloaded weight of 10,100 , cargo weight of 1,950. Total weight of trailer around 12,000 lbs. I've had no problems with my rig. Love the room of the MegaCab.

RE: Prime Time - Crusader

I have a 2012 Crusader 320RLT. Had it's bugs in the begining but happy with it now. River Forest who makes the Primetime trailers has a forum that owners chime in about their trailers. http://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/

RE: A/C runs when heat turned on

Nothing is wrong with your unit, can't remember what it was that causes that but if you go to Forest River Forum someone there can tell you. Something about putting your thermostat on auto.

RE: mileage on an F450?

Do yourself a favor and keep the Dodge. I went from an '06 Ford with the troublesome 6.0 to the Dodge with the 5.9 and never regret it

RE: Roomiest 1-ton for family?

I have a Mega Cab and love it. Only wife and I travel pulling our 37' fifthwheel, but lots of room for family and friends when we need it.

I refuel where ever it's convient to me, whether truck lane or car lane. Never had any problems at the pump.

RE: Meguires Ultimate

I use the Meguiar's Flagship Premium Cleaner/Wax. It does a great job, easy on and off. Puts on such a slick finish my flag holder doesn't stick to my trailer it just slides off.

RE: Buccaneer State Park, MS

Are there any shaded tree spots or is it just an open field now. Last time we went to a hurricain ravaged state park was in Gulf Shores. Between the storm dammage and forest fires the park had very few trees. Mother Nature was none to nice to Gulf Shore.
