RE: Where to stay on the Kenai Penninsula.

As others have said, traffic can be brutal. I found that if I did most of driving during the week it was fine. You can't go wrong staying anywhere on the Kenia, it's all great!
The spit at Homer is great, just don't stay in the RV park that has all of the little lighthouses ($$$$$$$) we stayed one night then moved across the road to a little campground, and were able to almost park in the bay for $25.00 a night.
Willowah campground near Portage glacier is great also, then you can do the tunnel drive to Whittier for some of the best sea food chowder you'll ever have! Just take your time and ENJOY God's creation!
Safe travels

RE: Pilot Discount Fuel Program Issue

How do I apply for this Pen-Fed card? Someone please private message me. I'm tired of the hassle of multiple swipes, and or $ limits per day for diesel fuel!

RE: Interesting campers while camping

Just saw what had to be one of the first campers ever conseived. Covered wagon that is. Coming home from Ceral City saw this fellow giving his horses a break on the side of the road. He was even towing double, had a smaller trailer behind the wagon with horse feed.

RE: Trash can dinner

Why not use a couple of turkey fryers. SAFE, no fuss, no muss. You don't have to worry about the galvinising leeching out into your food.

chili sauce

HELP, I'm looking for a spicy chili sauce recipe that my former MIL use to make. It had tomatoes peppers, onions, and several different spices including nutmeg. I've looked at alot of recipes, but none of which use nutmeg. If you have a really nice and spicy sauce recipe that you use on cooked meats PLEASE share it with me.
I would ask my ex MIL but she has passed away, and my exwife wont share the recipe. Thanks, and happy camping.

RE: My Camp Chef Stove

I've got the 2 burner Explorer model. I was looking at adding a single burner for $60.00 to give me 3, cost wise I might as well buy another 2 burner, for $90.00, and maybe the 2 burner griddle, B B Q box, hmmm I wonder what else. Oh rats I forgot about the weight! By the way I use a military duffel bag to carry my stove in, just thought I'd throw that in if you needed a carrying case, works great.

wheel bearing

Sorry for the newbie question, but I've never packed trailer bearings before. Is there just one bearing, and race, or is there 2 bearings, and races? Looked like one in the pictures, but I wanted to be sure. Thank you in advance.

Hmmm, never heard of RC bowling balls. They might help my bowling game, my bowling score is more like a golf score, and my golf score is well you get the idea.
