RE: Black water tank in Camp driveway

You can buy a what I call a chopper pump. Fitts on where you hook sewer hose. It will chop, and pump up hill, down hill to a sewer clean out, city sewer man hole or stool in house with a garden hose. Cost around 300.00 to 450.00 Maybe a little less, at RV store, Camping world, or some place on the internet., Paul

RE: Can a finance Co. just void your Contract??

We may not have all the facts, but a DEAL is a DEAL. From what I have seen, make your payments and sit tight. Do not think you should run after them. Do not let them talk you into something that will be costly to you. They would look silly trying to repo your RV if make payments and keep up your end. Paul

RE: Long-term dry camping?

Check for price and location. You need ele, for air con., furnice blower. western Iowa, smaller town 9,000, 200 bucks Mo, plus ele. water, and and sewer. ( Maybe another 100 bucks give or take on what u use.) Nice clean place, NO club house, No showers, No swimming pool. Depends on how you want to live. what you might have to pay. Paul

Anyone ever been in bussiness, bought a house, bought a car, Lawyer or not a deal is a deal. They can very well add something like that when your contract ends and you have to sign a new one. You ether sign or not. THEY CAN NOT change someing as they please. Try changeing it on your part send 2 bucks less, tell them why you changed your contract with them see how high that flys! COME ON FOLKS!! This seem to be a friendly forum and I love the forum and it nice we can talk about this stuff. Paul

RE: freezing Cold

RV antifreeze, the pink stuff, that I have useed is only about 10 percent anifreeze. Will not help all that much. Car antifreeze must be more like about 100 percent. Most car anifreeze you use half water and half anifreeze in your car. I think 50- 50 takes you to 40 below f. Paul

RE: Alaska trip 2 way communication

We have used cb radios, they work very good. We use walkie talkie now. We use the better to best 25 mile range but most of the time they only go a mile or more. Have cell phones for back up if we need them. We make sure we have a charger in each rv or pickup. Use small inverter to make sure batt. allways up. Just returned from 3,000 mile trip with our friends and used Walkies. They are sort of handy for other things, backing in camp spots for one. Been to Alaska 2 trips with a rv and plan on going again. RE: RV Sales in the RGV area.

I would take your rv down this year and spend time looking and shopping. About all Parks have park models, people have for sale. Mobile home would be my choice. There are a few parks where you buy your own lot in the park. We been going about every year since 1992. Lot of people shop all winter buy before they leave for the next year.. My self I would not concider going down and buying in a few days. Might work for you, not me. Paul
