RE: Roast beef & gravy in a can?

rockhillmanor
I don`t care for Spam or Hormel canned meats either.
But I`m also not rude enough or as ignorant as you
to express it as you have.

RE: Lodge Cast Iron or Cabelas, any others?

Iv`e been doing this black iron cooking for a while.
If you can find some OLD stuff, (Griswold or Wagner)
they have more iron in them and the heat is very even
and uniform.
It will be worth the effort to clean and re-season.
Super Dave, throw that sucker in a hot fire burn that crust out.
Wire brush, sand paper or whatever. That old stuff holds a seasoning
very good. By the way I enjoy your recipes.
I won`t say how I clean mine as all the nubies will run me out.

RE: Too much camper for my truck?

SoCalDesertRider: First of all, thanks for all your contributions.
But sometimes people just won`t or can`t comprehend the numbers.
They believe what they want to and no amount of water will penetrate that rock.
Weight is weight and truck capacities are not changed by the owner.
Not legally or by imagination.
SoCalDesertRider: As you know not everyone passed the math class. LOL

RE: Do Not get caught!

I could be wrong, but removing the cat from your exhaust is a
Federal EPA violation.
Just not observed by most state LEO`s
But looking for new revenues by all states, be very careful

RE: Jeep Liberty or Ford Edge as Dinghy for Class C

Thank You to all who answered up on the mileage inquiry.
After having a Cherokee, with great success I might add, we are
considering a new Liberty.
Most everybody we talked to says good things.
Thanks again, E.P.

RE: Frustration with Onan 4000 microquiet plugs

When you get the plug out, however you choose, use some "Never Seize".
Use sparingly. Available at all auto parts and probably WalMart.
Comes in a tube like a junior size toothpaste.
I have even found it at the CarQuest store in Quartzsite.

RE: Commercial Back Porch Available

I like the "store-bought" porch form my purposes...all except the price. I am working on someting simular, about 24" wide and about 7' long. I don't want it to fold, only need it for long trips. I want to store my genny and fuel on one side, grill, chairs, etc on the other. Those RV steps do fold some, I am getting a set to install. With my short overhang and 24" width, I don't think drag will be a problem. I want to keep the center open, just use it as entrance into the camper. I like all the ideas.
Jeepers92 " Viet Nam Vet and proud of it"
As well you should be. Thank you for your service
