RE: RV Storage in Yuma

My friend found storage for his 40ft MH in one of the Parks here in the Foothills Yuma for $35 a month. This was just off Fortuna , close to the Frontage Rd

RE: Trailer length?

We had a 26 ft TT and could get in most ever where, bought a 34 ft TT and a lot of places we used to go to with the 26 ft, we cannot get into now. But I still much prefer the 34 ft TT. I also have a 40 ft 5th w but I have it set up on a permanent site in Yuma as I hated towing it

RE: RV parks near Yuma Az

There are many such Parks in the Yuma Foothills. Drive into the Parks and look around. Some of the Parks you have to check in before they will let you inside

RE: Oregon Coast

We spend summers along the Oregon and Wash Coast for the past 11 years and it seems like we get our share of rain just about every month. Last summer was great. July and Aug some rain but we still love the Oregon and Wash Coast

RE: Why do many class A owners use campground showers

We had our last RV for 10 years and the shower was never used once !! We belong to Thousand Trails {25 years} and there showers are always clean and a lot more room plus pleanty of hot water. I really wish more of you used your own showers than I would not have to wait sometimes for someone to get thru with there shower

RE: Thoughts on Honda Eu200i (Old Stock)

At that price I would buy as many as they have for sale. I buy off Craigs List
and resell them for $750 each so your price is a hell of a deal !!!

RE: Slide Toppers?

We have had RVs with and without and prefer without slide out toppers. The last one ripped apart during a wind storm and never replaced . Leaves etc always underneath the topper. I carry a 8 ft ladder and use elect blower to clean off the top of the slide outs

RE: Selling Camper...what if I owe more than I can get?

You go with the buyer to your Bank or whomever has the title and the buyer gives the money that he is willing to pay for the rv and you pay the difference
to the Bank. The Bank is happy, the buyer is happy, not so much you.

RE: Service Engine Soon, Ford V 10

My light came on in my V10 and the Ford Dealer wanted $100 to check it. Talked to some Guy who told me to diconnect my battery then reconnect it. The light stayed off for the next three years before I sold it. Had it smogged several times during this time in Calif

RE: New Years at Lawson's Landing

Brings back memories. 15 years or so ago we were camping there and woke up during the night thinking we were in a earth quake as the TT was shaking and moving . It was a cow rubbing her back on the end of our TT. Another time there was a cow pattie just outside the front door and during the night I got up to go pee outside and stepped right in the middle of the pattie and I was barefoot.
Been there many times over the years

I like a looooong hot shower. I see no reason to use my small shower in my TT. Good exercise to walk to the bath room for shower and number 2

RE: Rottweilers

We traveled {camped} with our two Rotts, male and female, for over 6 years and only turned away a few times and one was at a KOA Park which I do not like anyway. We belong to Thousand Trails and they do not have restrictions as far as types of dogs as far as I know. So we stay mainly at TT and State Parks

RE: autoformers

I have the Hughes Autoformer and use it on every camping trip. This past summer
in Oregon during a heat wave I put the Autoformer away since we wanted to leave early the next morning. We had low voltage in the Park which took out my Ref, Heater, and A/C. That was a expensive mistake disconnecting the Autoformer
to save some time
