RE: Removing old overhead tv/replacing with flat screen

the frame that held our old tv is made with angle iron behind wooden facade. After taking off surround oak frame I measured and bolted 1" angle vertical to existing angle frame. I then bolted an extendable swivel flat screen mount and it fits perfect and covers old tv hole, although it's,the tv,is wider than old one. I added a screwin Ibolt on each corner and run 2 bungie cords across tv at an angle to hold in in place while traveling.

I've got the same as Clay L and put it on both ends 8 years ago before our first trip to Arizona. I might have 10 bucks in both.

RE: Tank valves

7/32 would be a number that comes to mind, tap could be any of quite a few depending on what you purchase. some are 18 some are 20 and also fine at 28. get the correct tap at time of zerk purchase.

RE: Rear ladder

a similar mistake happened to me backing in a campsite.wrinkled IN ladder to the back wall. went to local pipe supplier and bought stainless tubing exact size and the next size smaller to use as a splicer. completely rebuilt ladder for a lot less than half of what a new one would have cost. got to use two foot of the bottom of original ladder plus the top as it curves over the back and anchors to the roof. all I needed was two straight pieces and 4 short splices that ended up between steps so joint can not be seen. looks store bought

RE: Dinghy selection

I traded in a '98 STS in 04 for a new Liberty. Talk about downsizing!! The only thing we are sorry about is we didn't get the fancy model with leather and heated seats. Have towed it all over Michigan and to Arizona twice and Mass. once. It has been one of the best vehicles we have owned. Not a great ride compared to Cadillac but fun to drive. Absolutely no repairs except ball joint recall and we always get 29 mpg. there is not much town driving.
