I leave the tank valve open all the time. Except when it is being filled. You have a leak someplace. Was the stove top burner left on?

Do it before you leave. This way you also get to check for leaks and fix them.
Do not think you will get any hard freeze in GA. Drain and blow out the lines should do.

Guess we have to stop at the local Dollar store here before we leave. Pick up some blankets and beads. So we can get safe passage. Sure glad the Cherokee here have there own Casino to make a living off the White Man.
