Lake Corpus Christi State Park, Goose Island State Park, Anywhere along the coast near Rockport. Hill Country. East Texas lakes & Piney Woods. So many choices.
Goose Island has a birding expert volenteer on staff - at least four birding programs a week including 2 morning walks.

Suprised no one has mentioned Rafter J as it is widely know in that area. There web sites says rates are 49-52 full hookup depending on 30 or 50 AMP
I do not believe they charge extra for kids, their website makes a mention of 3.00 if over 7 but that may be only cabins.

Breakaway wire can not be manadtory as breaking is not required in all states. Both are safety items to me and I always used both.

Take the Grayline Bus tour of Rushmore and Crazy Horse which includes a lunch. It's much more enjoyable, and probably more fun for the kids, than trying to do it yourself. There is another tour of the Badlands. Contest: what movie was filmed in the Badlands?
Yikes $358 for the 6, a bit expensive and what do you do with the dog for 9 hours?

UplandRV'r, they all seem like nice coaches. I think I would choose the one that is the cleanest, nicest color combo and newest tires (with all other things being equal as you said about maintenance, etc.).
MM.
Strange way to buy most of us would say the one moma likes and the best layout for you. Tires are important but 6 new ones are about $2500 with the FMCA discount

Banff National Park 13 campgrounds with 2468 sites most being without reservations and limited utilities

I would be more concerned about my choice of unit, search on here as this unit does not get good reviews, my trucker Garmin has all the campgroumds in it just mixed up in recreation and lodging catagory

Used it for 2 years and has kept me out of trouble they also make a newer model for trucks more features, bigger screen. Contray to what most think it does have all the campgrounds in its data base, just under lodging and recrecation (state parks etc.) I like that I can also use it in the tow car also, it quickly switches from truck to car mode.

They have a 'setting' in setup that allows you to enter in the vital stats: width, height, etc. So you could go in and 'fudge' the settings when using a car, then reset the trailer or MH settings.
This is not necessary in a Garmin, just switch from truck to car, even changes the icon on the screen. Would be a pain to input all the height, weight data all the time if worked as described above

I have used the water there many times for coffee etc. Was fine by me. You never know when you will need a surge, this is not a campground specific need.

I'm partial to Colter Bay Village RV Park in Grand Teton National Park. Full hookups, a short walk to Jackson Lake, grocery store, laundromat, restaurant (never went in).
Carried out great chocolate cake from the resaurant. Remember that their are 350 non reservation sites there also. Not full HU but great location

There is a GEM in western ND. Theodore Roosevelt NP near Medora. It's a welcome site after driving hours through flat farmland.
X2 I took route 2 from Glacier NP to Minnesota in 2010 not much to see. Flat land on the right and a railroad track on the left.
