I wonder why they could not use a Die Spring like we use in mold tools.

RE: Screen rooms?

I have made enquiries to England & France they have there production lines only for there. Our coaches are higher than the brits, the wheels in the UK caravans go up into the coach and not like what we have here. You could have a awning room shipped and mod the hight, but it would cost a bit.Needs a Co to make them here.

RE: fifthwheel leaf springs

I was wondering if anyone has changed out their springs due to fatigue.I have a 2005 Keystone challenger with 14000gvw and 6000lb.axles and am running almost max weight on axles. I noticed today after starting to install my trail air equalizer that my leaf springs have little to no arch in them. they only have 4 leafs in the pack. I believe they might be getting fatigued or are not rated high enough for the weight of the trailer. Should they have a certain amount of arch to them.I saw on e-trailer they have 5800lb springs with 5 leafs and 6600 lb springs with 6 leafs. The problem I am having is the shackles connecting the springs to the eq are straight up and down with very little room for movement. I am worried when I have extreme axle movement that the shackles will hit the eq. The 6600 lb. springs are 1 inch shorter in length that would give me some angle on the shackles and have a bigger arch that would give me a little more tire room from the upper wheel well, but not sure if I go with the heavier rated springs that the trailer would ride to much rougher.
Yes I have, went from 3000lbs to 3500lbs USA made springs mine factory ones had grown.
