RE: Leveling the Refrigerator

Why have I never had a problem with the level of a fridge? I have had motorhomes (Bs and Cs) for thirty years. Unless it is a pretty good incline, I just don't worry about it. A few degrees from level and I am fine. I have never had a problem with a fridge not working properly because of a slightly off level situation. When we boondock (which is about 95% of the time) I just try to get it reasonably level. The advice above that if half the bubble is in the circle is right on target as far as I am concerned. The advice above that if half the bubble is in the circle is right on target as far as I am concerned. It just seems to me that we sometimes tend to scare newbies in particular with "what ifs" that it could take away from their confidence and enjoyment. I think this quite interesting since I tend to find it pretty difficult to find a spot that'll get me within a half a bubble.... Well that's mostly around the hilly forested Eastern side of the country anyways. For me leveling is a PITA and I strive for the bubble to be ~ 10%+ in the circle.

RE: Portable Air Compressor

I picked this B&D 125psi, 2gal oil-less from Target for $35 clearance (actually 3, and gave 2 away as gifts). CLICKY It's been great for my tires and blowing out my water lines (also use anti-freeze). Not sure if they still sell them though.

RE: Bike rack for B with rear spare tire

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, depending how serious the biking will be, I also really like folders for the B. I can get two 16" wheeled folders, or one 20" wheeled folder under my rear seat/bed. This is with my two vintage Dahons: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2588/3676128785_d1b7f9efe1_o.jpg For reasons of weather, security, parking footprint size, etc..., unless I'm heading to a biking destination which I'll take the Thule/real bikes, I almost always have a folder with me.

RE: Bike rack for B with rear spare tire

Thule Revolver, expensive, but worth it. 4 bike rack, although 4 is tight and 3 fits perfectly. No hitch extension necessary (well, for the RT at least). Adds just a few inches to your length when folded. Swings away, with or w/o bikes, so you can access the rear doors. Locks for bikes to rack, and rack to vehicle. Very quick to load/unload if you have standard bike frames, needs an attachment/adaptor for unusual frame. Very solid mounting, bikes to rack, rack to vehicle. First bike should be mounted front wheel to right side of vehicle. My RT with rack folded. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2453/3637922859_049eb9e5d4_b.jpg http://www.thule.com/en-US/US/Products/Bike-Carriers/Hitch/964-Revolver#
