RE: Unloading motorcycles out of a Toy Hauler

I ride it up the ramp, but I start by resting the front tire at the base of the ramp, and then I make sure the front wheel is centered on the ramp.
I then look up into the garage before I take off, and treat the ramp as a gentle hill that I need to climb, not to fast, or not to slow.
To pull the bike out I ride it out. I turn the bike on, and put the bike in reverse (I have a goldwing) to pull it out of the wheel chuck. I then place the back tire right at the top of the ramp.
I then put the bike into 1st gear, and use gravity to get down the ramp. I use my throttle or front brake to slow the bike down as needed. If I’m on a real steep incline, I use the throttle, if on a gentle incline, I use the front brakes.
A piece of cake. Do it 3 or 4 times, and you’ll be good at it.
I've done it in the rain, in the dark, and when the trailer was on a angle.
I was going to make a remark about the last sentence but I changed my mind ;)
This is a picture of a ramp Mod I used for my 3602RL Raptor. The ramp door is a two piece but the mod could be easily done on a standard ramp door. You will have to purchase a ramp extension similar to the one in the photo.

If you happen to have a Gold Wing put it in reverse and leave it there when unloading. The bike will actually stop on the ramp without using the brake. You have to activate the reverse to make it go down the ramp.
I agree with other people’s concerns about a wet ramp or tires. You are just looking for trouble.
In answer to the original post my recommendation would be always ride the bike into and out of the trailer. You are just asking for trouble.
You might make it a few times but the law of averages will catch up with you sooner or later
