RE: TIFFIN ALLEGRO BUS 2012

We own a 07 QSP 40' and we have had good luck and no problems. Now that I state that all heck will brake loose. We do look at other coaches but always walk away saying," Are we nuts". We love our coach and we could afford to change but Why. Most things said about
tiffin are true but from what I see and read every company has problems. We sat in Bob Tiffins office and he never made us feel like it was time for us to leave. He stated that we are here to take care of you meaning us. Like my wife says,"why would we ever leave a company like this". Rob

RE: New Motorhome Purchase!

Great. I know you are going to like that steering system. I have a
spartan but not the comfort steer. I will give it a try prior to up grading to another coach. Rob

RE: allegro bus

Go towww.tiffinrvnrtwork.com you will read the good and the bad. You will also get answers to an questions that you may have. I own a bus and one night I was updating my bedroom TV and could not get the TV box loose. Went on the web and by 0800 I had the answer to the puzzle. You have to love that. Merry Christmas

RE: 2012 Equinox any one use as a Toad

Bought a 2012 LTZ 2.4 and it is great. Had a 2007HHR 2.2 and it gave 31MPG so we did not want to get away from that milage. Giving 30 with only 3000 miles so I am happy. I installed a Blueox and it went on with little work. Have not hauled it down the road yet but I am sure it will tow as well as the HHR. I does weigh 700 more lbs. One nice car.

RE: Country Coach Magna

Just meet a owner of a CC magna over at JOSAMs in Orlando having some ball joints changed and he stated that parts are hard to get. Ball joints came from Sweeden. CC made a great coach and I came close to being an owner. Good luck.

RE: Maybe I should have bought a A instead of a 5er?

We started off with a one ton dually and a Lance 945 truckcamper. we both loved it but once we retired and were going to spend six months in the sun we went to a 32' 5th wheel. DW liked it alot but I wanted a 400HP DP. We looked for over two years and found what we both liked. I was ok with three slides but DW wanted four and now I am glad that she stuck to her guns. I would also say to get the best one you can aford so you are not looking to trade. We bought a used 4000 mile coach and got a great price and now DW talks about a rear bath and I tell her that she is nuts. Our coach is cherry with tile floors and what more could you want. We have a dishwasher that I love and she would like a stack washer and dryer. The Combo works well. Good luck and take your time finding the right one.

RE: Buyers Remorse / Regrets?

We started camping in 1995 in a new 95 Lance 945 and still own it .I have spent two days getting it ready for my daugther and family to go camping. More work than going in the coach. DW wants to sell camper and I say no not yet.We love both and do not worry about the costs. Dead a long time and we enjoy getting away. Go for it. Rob

RE: New camper delayed again

I would not think about ordering anything where you have to put money down prior to seeing the product. Business is using new money to cover old problems. Hope yours is not being used that way.

RE: Spare tire access problem

I cut a short piece of stock that fits the lowering cable system and us a socket and rachet to lower the tire. No need in removing the camper. Rob

RE: Are you happy with your Cummins 5.9 hauling your TC

I happen to own 99 3500 with a lance 945 on it and it has got all sorts of power. So much that I used up the stock tranny. Put a billet shaft DTT tranny in and now it really shows up to work. My wife wants me to sell it but it looks like new with 98000 miles. We do not use it since we also have a 8.9 ISL in a dp. What would you think this truck and like new garaged 1995 Lance 945 and no rote is worth. It also is all set up to pull a 5th wheel. Also I did not state that it is a 4X4. Rob
