RE: M&G Tow Brake system

I finally parted with a few bucks and had the M and G installed at a FMCA rally..The install went well, sorry I didn't buy one before and install myself. The operation is seamless . One quick connect airline to hook up and off you go. works well . I have only had to make one hard stop in the 1500 miles it has been installed. the m and g did what it was supposed to do and stopped the toad smoothly. I give it an A+

RE: My furbaby is going blind

Our Bichon is blind and gets around just fine . He is loose in doors and knows his way around . He may be a tough study to try and teach but has memorized everywhere he needs to go.. When outdoors he is on a long leash and does well by scent. He has marked every corner and tree and bush in the yard and knows just where he is at. He does rely on the other dog for clues sometimes

RE: Sterling All-Terrain Issues

Hi lanerd,, I got your point and I too think the advertizing is faulty. But nevertheless , you do have to secure the car before releasing the bar and pins etc or car will roll away or roll into the coach, unless of course , you are on flat ground.. While you are inside of car , why not take the next step and move car just that fraction of an inch to take pressure off of bars ? Roadmaster and Blue ox both say if bars bind when attempting to release to start car and move steering wheel back and forth to relieve binding.. All 3 major mfg's of bars , Roadmaster ,Demco and BlueOx make fine , safe products although my next bar will be a BlueOx. Not because of performance , but because they have a better, friendlier rebuild/inspection program at FMCA rallies

This will remove the rearward slack that makes pin removal difficult, especially if you parked going up an incline. this is method I use..I would use the same method with whatever brand of towbar I had..doesn't take any more time, you have to start car and secure it anyway

RE: Toilet Paper

X2 on what adondo said ..Or you can dump at you camp and then add 5 gal back in and a little detergent or chemical of your choice and then travel to your next site or home.. If it makes you feel better to use RV paper, then use it. The yearly cost is not that much.

RE: Straight Talk and LG 220C ONE PROBLEM REMAINS

I have the straight talk basic plan .. $30.. It has 30 mb of web use but is painfully slow and tedious. If you are looking for a result like a smart phone ,then this not what you want . for my use , I don't need a $80 phone bill and I can live without my mail for a few days, if necessary.. I found no convenient way to transfer pic,or addresses to ST. But then it only took about a half hour to type everything back in .

RE: MAXXFORCE 10 ENGINE

The company I used to work for used a DT466 in a single axle city tractor to haul 48,000 lbs of paint/glue back to the local terminal every day.. Ran just fine . A little slow on the big hill but trotted along nicely on most roads. If the Max 10 is built on that technology , most likely it will be a strong engine
