You can buy a new Dodge in the high 30's if you watch for them and in the low 40's all day long. A good used truck isnt going to save you alot unless you get high mileage one.

RE: RV use during winter
Resmas, Have the local propane company set a large tank next to the trailer and they can make a hose to reach it. Then they can come by on thier route and keep it filled. Pianotuna's idea is a great one to cut down on propane use.

I had an 07 and just kept the throttle mashed to the floor on hills pulling more than you are and could maintain decent speeds.

I had a 1985 Crewcab dually 4wd with 6.2 and a turbo. It ran well enough for that era. Blew a head gasket at 100K so it went away.

One thing to remember is that when licensing fees are low this revenue must be made up in other ways. It doesn't mean they can run their government for less money.
Or they dont waste money like some states and dont require as much.

I saw a bumper sticker on the back of a TT one day that said if ( If There is anything left when were gone we miscalculated) I've been trying to figure out how to make the money last until i'm dead. Whats the formula ? when am i gonna die ? whens the money gonna run out ? If you know the answer let me know, otherwise i'm gonna wing it.
