I would guess Vacuum is what took your water. Wind going by when driving down the road created a vacuum, That or you turned the pump on a few times to wash your hands and pumped it out thru the WH.

I have been following your post just because I feel your pain and wish you the best. I have been broke down and it is not fun and I don't full time so can only guess how bad this is on you and family. I don't no much about diesel so all I can offer is Good Luck.

If you want it done right I would take it to Gas Tank Renu
I had them fix the tank on my other Mh and the did a good job, Never leacked again

We use to camp in Oscoda MI when there was a USAF base there. Some days the fighters flew over all day or made there run down the down the Au Sable River That was fun. Today the base is gone and have not been to that campground in years.

Need power steering reservoir 2001 F53 Help (Update)
I have taken the reservoir in to a welding shop in Montrose, Mi to have it remade, He could of patched the leak but it was badly rusted. Having a new one made of stainless steel. As a side note there is a spin on filter inside the reservoir that is also no longer available. I did find a few on ebay using a Fram number P8044. If you have one of these finely made Ford reservoirs then it need to be checked before it gets bad like mine did. Good Luck and thanks for all the help,

It has a remote reservoir that sets next to the air cleaner and it does not come with the pump. Being it sets next to the air cleaner in the front of the MH it would be one of the first victims in a front end collision and I have not found a junk yard that has one as of yet. Going monday to see if I can get it fixed or have one built.

Need power steering reservoir 2001 F53 Help
I have a leek in my power steering reservoir on my 2002 MH F53 Chassis, I removed it and went to the ford dealer only to be told it is no longer available. Came home and been searching the net for new one, No luck so far. Any hel in locating one would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Driving with slide extended?
I see a guy a few years back move is 5er from one spot to another just around the bent from the site he was on with two slides out along with the awning. I would not of believed it had i not seen it myself. It is not something I would try.
