The route to Chattanooga from Cherokee is the one we are most concerned with. We are 34ft, plus towing and we do not have an e-brake!

Cherokee, NC to Red Bay, Al.
What is the best route from Cherokee, Maggie Valley, NC are yo Red Bay, Al.? Mapquest takes you over to Chattanooga, Tn. then to Huntsville, Al. then to Red Bay. Is this the best route and if so where is a Walmart around half way that allows overnite parking?

Garmin or Tom Tom
We just ordered the Rand Mcnally RV7710 for our Motorhome and looking for an inexpensive GPS for auto. We are looking at the Garmin Nuvi 1450, the Tom Tom Via 1505 and the Tom Tom XXL 550. All three advertise life time maps. This is important to us. We have read some bad reviews on the ability to download updated maps on the Tom Tom. Anyone have any experience with any one of these three?

M & G Brake System Question
How can you tell if your M & G System is working. We had ours installed at the place of business in Athens, Tx. and they said to hold your foot on the brake pedal of the car with no pressure while someone else applies pressure to the brake pedal on the MH. You should then feel some slight movement. Our experience is you have to apply slight pressure before you can feel anything. On our Roadmaster Brakemaster when you depressed the brake pedal on the MH you could see the brake pedal move on the car. With this slight movement of the brake pedal with the M & G system or we getting adequately braking?

Orange Beach Or Destin
We travel in a 34 ft. motorcoach and never have stopped in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, or Destin area. We know there are some great parks but we would like to be next to water for a few days when we come back thru that area. Any suggestions? Norm Waddell where are you when we need you?

Magellin Roadmate RV9145
Is the Magellin Roadmate RV9145 , just introduced, different that the Magellin Pro 9165t? Both have seven inch screens and are RV specific. Wonder if the new unit has any improvements and is better the the Rand Mcnalley 7inch that also is RV specific and priced at $350.

Traveling to Pine Mtn. Ga. from Fort Myers. What route options do we have. How is hwy 27 from I-10 north to Columbus. Maoquest takes me thru Athens, Ga. Is that the best route.

How is Hwy 61 from Tunica to Vicksburg. It is 50 miles shorter than going to Hwy 55 to Jackson and over. Any construction or delays on 61. Are roads 4-lane and smooth or rough.

We traveled this I-20 before and found Hwy, very bumpy around Shreveport and Monroe, La. Have the roads improved any? Does either city have a by-pass? Do not like bumpy ride.:(

Any difference between the TRC and the Progressive hard wired surge protectors. A lot of dealers and Campingworld sell the TRC but I have had good reviews on the Progresive.

Hi-Low riser for tow bar
Our Breeze sits low to ground and we will be towing a 2008 Saturn Vue. Where do you measure from/to get heights to compare. Thought it was from the middle of the hitch receiver on motorhome and the middle of the tow brackets on vehicle. Sounds right to me but not sure.
