RE: Help!!!!!! No power

Since you didn't give us much info(50 amp, inverter or converter, Auto Transfer Switch) all we can do is guess?? If you have an inverter, check the breakers on it.. Tough I would start at the pedistal with a volt meter and work my way into the coach.. If you have a Auto transfer switch, I'd check it to make sure the voltage is going to the main panel.. As someone else has said after checking all of the GFI's and still no power.. Mike M..

RE: Shore power won't run anything

I would start where the shore line goes into the coach, it should go into a box, that should be your auto transfer switch, that is what switches your power from shore to generator and back after you shut the gen off.. I would open the box and check volt when you're hooked into shore power, if it is coming in but not going out, the ATS is bad and needs to be replaced.. I just changed ours as it was not transfering voltage to the coach from the gen.. I got one made in Elkhart In. Elkhart Supply Company.. $192.50 and it took me about 2 hours to change.. Mike M..

RE: Trailing arms please respond

John ours were fine til they took them off and layed them on the garage floor and cracks opened up as they lay there.. I had just had them checked two weeks before and they looked fine.. Ours were cracked from the top down, so the weight of the coach kept the cracks shut to the point you could not see or detect in any way til the weight was off of them.. You should not feel you wasted your money.. I feel sooner or later all of them will fail if they are not changed.. Mike M..

RE: gnerator with shore power

I also make it a practice to drop all the load I can, there will be some small stuff on(1 to 4 amps), so the ATS doesn't have to drop and pick-up heavy load, it saves ware and tear on the ATS contacts.. Mike M..

RE: 1999 HR Endeavor 37' develops leak front left

Is water going into the compartment in front of the left front wheel?? Could be the windshield, front cap seem, driver's side window, driver's side mirror, rain water will follow wiring, so the leak may not be close to the wet area.. Mike M..

RE: Air Dump valve??

Crawl under your coach find the air tank and see if there is a drain plug on the bottom.. If there is go to NAPA and get a manual air drain($12) with a lanyard, remove the drain plug, install the new one, afix the lanyard to something that is handy and drain the air.. Mike M..

RE: Any one install programer on 275hp Cummins

There are two, but yours should be the 3000MH, it should be fine, if I remember right, the 3000 is good for about 1200 ft. lbs. of torque and 400 hp.. Mike M..

RE: Any one install programer on 275hp Cummins

You would want to make sure it is designed for moho's not pick-ups.. What transmission do you have?? Some of the Allison's are maxxed out and you could run a chance of damaging.. Mike M..

RE: Do you leave your baggage compartments unlocked?

We always lock them when we're going down the road.. Other times it depends on where we are, the suroundings, and whither we are comfortable with the area.. That said, most of the time we keep them locked..Mike M..

RE: Blocking sun glare through cab windows

I put a double layer of dark tint(Walmart auto) down aways, then I got an inside black screen, like the stuff used outside, mounted it(velcro around the window frame) so I can roll it up just enough that I can see under it to drive safely..Mike M..

RE: Front Suspension riding on bumpers

Yes, but not on a moho, our work trucks is what we had trouble with.. We took them to a truck spring shop and had a leaf or two added.. Made it ride harder, but it didn't bottom out.. For a moho, you might want to see about the small air bags that mount between the springs and the chassis.. I added them to the back of a pick-up to help with towing a trailer, made a big difference.. Mike M..

RE: Line-X vs Rhino Liner

I have also used both in pick-up trucks, and I would pick Line-X for the front cap, if that's what your asking for?? Line-X gets hard while Rino stays soft and I would be afraid that things would embed thereselves in the material.. Just my thought..Mike M..

RE: First winter in Florida

The first year we retired we traveled around(week or two here then move on) to see what we liked.. Both coasts then down the middle.. We don't need any amenities, so that narrows things down alittle.. We ended up at a little campground South of Sebring at the corner of US 98 and US27 called Highland Oaks.. There is lakes near by if you fish, golf courses if you golf, and an hours drive to either coast if you like the ocean, oh about forgot we're about three from the Sebring race track..
Have fun, safe travels, good luck and congratulations on your new adventure, you're going to love it..Mike M..
