RE: passport bed size

We have that unit. I am 6' and fit just fine. We did however replacer the camper mattress with a regular 'full' size mattress, and it still works fine. Our unit is currently for sale. If you are interested in a practially new unit let me know. Good luck.

A wonderful week off up north!!

Just returned from a week up on the Eagle River WI chain of lakes at the local KOA. Great time, great weather, great campground. A little forehead sunburn, but I'll make it. Already planning the same trip for next year. Not looking foward to returning to work since it will be mid to high 90's and HUMID all week.

Simple Swap-out?

Is replacing the antenna directional dial as simple as removing the screws, sliding old one out, and sliding the new one on?

Anyone know if Camco blocks and Lynx levelers will work together, or are they exclusive to each other?

RE: Any of you guys have the Fastway "Flip-Jack?

tbrowne,
How does it work in some of your sandier sights, or after some rain? Is the base wide enough that the jack wont start sinking over days of use and camping?

RE: new member..need advise!

Very comfortable towing ours with our half-ton. A WD set-up is a must. We love our Passport. The 2nd slide makes like a seperate room, which is priceless for privacy, changing, letting the kids and/or guests sleep-in while I make breakfast or have a cup of coffee. Check out ourfloorplan, its about 500lbs lighter.
Good Luck.

RE: battery type

If you always use hook ups, then go to Walmart and buy the least expensive battery they sell. No sense in buying capacity you don't need. Good luck.

RE: furnance won't light

Furnaces work in a "sequence". If for some reason the sequence is interrupted it will not work properly. It will do whatever it can to make sure that safety is met. Since your blower is coming on, and you don't have the 'fan switch' on the t-stat on on, then the furnace thinks it is hot enough to start blowing heat out. If this is the case then you have a limit switch failing or the board could be malfunctioning.

RE: TT Issue or Dealer Service Issue? - Long

After all, the DEALER did not build the unit and he won't be reimbursed for that travel time or expense of coming to you to repair an item that would probably have been much more efficient to repair at their facility.
Good luck / Skip
They may not have built the unit, but they damn well better stand behind what they sell. Also, if a dealer isnt willing to travel to do some WARRANTY work, they shouldnt sell to anyone who lives outside their zipcode. Stuff breaks, I get it, but these problems should be addressed immediately since they were diagnosed at walk-thru.
