RE: 49cc Scooter

Also check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to see if you have to have Motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license. Some states require it and some don't depending on the CC's of the scooter.

RE: Off to the Deer Woods

I don't have to go anywhere as we have a group of five that visit us regularly.

The object in the picture is a foam target used for bow and arrow practice left by the previous owner.
This is my back yard and the deer are about 350 feet from my back door.
We also have fox, turkey, possum and raccoon that visit us often.

RE: What older TT to rebuild ?

I would pick one with an aluminum frame as it will be easier to rebuild.

RE: Any plans to do any work on your RV??

Bought a 1968 Barth trailer last year and am going to have to repair the plumbing lines, finish the interior painting, install a fridge and stove and build the other side of the dinette (one side is there), install some extra interior lights and no telling what else we will come up with.http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/yy173/msbarth/Barth%20trailer/bc1.jpg

Many things have been fried in iron skillets so why not a Dutch Oven? I don't see a problem.

RE: What CAN'T a Motorhome Do (or go)!

I have a 28' class A and you will be surprised where you can go and what you can do with it. Some drive throughs are ok and some are not, but mine is small enough that I don't tow a vehicle with me.
Just get out, experiment and think "outside the box" and you will find many uses for your new "toy".

RE: Jill's Journal 18 months

Hello Dr. Doug. those are nice friends you have there.
I am a yorkie/minpin and my name is scruffy, my mom owns my dad and her son owns my mom, I am a pretty good dog but being a terrier I don't always come when called and it got me in trouble a couple of weeks ago. I ran into the woods and was bitten by a timber rattler.
My mom took me to the emergency vet and he gave me some medicine that made me feel better, but my face was swollen pretty bad for about 3 days. I am back to my old self now and thanks for helping a dog in need,
Scruffy

RE: Which RV did you have the most fun with?

We had a short 1964 Ford schoolbus that we used when we went riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes, then we graduated to a 1973 Condor Motorhome, and boy did we have fun in those two RV's. They were bullet proof and we went some strange places that you wouldn't think a schoolbus or motorhome would go. This was back in about 1983.

RE: Running roof air off battery

From a friend of mine
BTW we are running a bank of 6 300 A-hr Lifeline AGM's in our Barth, they will run the bedroom air conditioner all night and make coffee in the morning before the auto gen start fires up the Onan.

RE: Success using the oven in your RV?

I use the oven in my motorhome frequently, I simply lower the temperature 50 degrees less than the recipe calls for.
