Sidecar motorcycle for toad
Anyone out there use a sidcar rig for a toad? We snowbird in the winter and Maine in the summer, Any thoughts appreciated.

IF you are only wanting full hook up that is very close to Savannah, try Hardeeville RV, just over the Talmadge bridge in SC. Free cable, free wi-fi, no frills, just a clean safe place with full hookup to stay less than 15 minutes from downtown. When you leave this place going back to Savannah in less than 10 minutes you are crossing the river at the state line and can see downtown.
I used this as a home-base to stay in while moving from the Atlanta area to get back home.
Check the reviews online.
We were there for Saint Patrick's day, clean, nice owners. We use it every year on our way south and return.

why at its age and low mileage does it need new tires? tires are good for at least 7+ years and 45-50K miles

Try this simple solution take a mallet or hammer and hit the key, not hard but firmly, maybe 2 or 3 times. Found this doing an internet search and it has worked for me and a couple of folks I told, I think it must shock the tumblers free and the form to the key and work.:@

Have not stayed there, but this is a great area to visit. The campground is quite a ways from the beach, but there is beach parking($) and I think the trolley goes to or near the site. Don't miss taking a walk in the Rachel Carson wildlife area up the road in Ogunquit. Oh, and if you want an interesting dining experience try the Maine Diner.http://mainediner.com/

RE: diabetic neuropathy
Dw & I both have some neuropathy. Hers is from the Chemo when she had breast cancer and mine is diabetic. Vitamin B6 was prescribed for her on it works for me also. I use a walker for short distances and I feel much more secure with that in front of me. I carry a scooter in the back of the Vue for longer trips. I have lost 60 # and that has helped a little also. I was 5'11 1/2" and 295#. Now I am 5'8" and 235#. I am afraid of losing anymore because I don't want to get much shorter. I started out as a tall fat guy and ended up as a short fat guy.
Good to see neuropathy doesn't affect your sense of humor! LOL

Ask the campground staff, they are very helpful, you can buy your metro pass at the campground and avoid any lines.

In '06 when I bought and installed mine they offered a dash mounted receiver and a under hood sending unit(pressure switch) that indicated when air pressure was present.

I was looking into this last fall. Seems like a practical way to go. I was told they are not considered trailers, rather load extenders as they don't pivot on the hitch.I'll probably build dual wheel one for the summer

Hospitalized
I've been hospitalized since the 16th in Martin Memorial North
in Stuart Fl. I had 4 abdominal surgeries in '99 caused by a Colin perforation, Left me with lots of scarring , this trip it's a partial obstruction blockage. Had an NG tube in releasing pressure. Well it looks like it's opening up, they removed the tube and I'm on liquid today, soft tomorrow and solid Sunday then home.Yippee!!! I would recommend the hospital to any in need in the area, Doctors and Nurses great care.
