RE: USAA Insurance

That is pretty much what I was told last year too. Thanks for posting this information.

RE: USAA Insurance

I should have said that although it seems like a few people are not happy with USAA anymore, in my experience I still am very happy with them. Probably over 20 years now and through 2 cars being totaled (one due to a accident in blizzard conditions and another storm resulting in a tree falling on the car) they have been great. Very quick to send out adjusters and pay out the claim right away. And my rates have really not changed. I have not had anyone beat their price. Their banking/ATM policy is really good too. I was also told my camper was insured in storage when I asked last year, fortunately I didn't have any reason to test it, but I will clarify this again when it goes into storage in December.
Like most companies quotes are free, there is nothing to lose.

RE: USAA Insurance

this web page shows who is eligable for their products. there does need to be a military connection for their auto insurance coverage, not specifically a veteran.

RE: USAA Insurance

Question..... Do you have to be a veteran to be able to get insurance through USAA???? Thanks.
No, you do not have to be a veteran, but there are other requirements.
