RE: Painting the Aluminum Siding I painted the lower half of mine about 15 years ago. I washed it down with wax and grease remover first. Then I scuffed the factory painted aluminum with 3M maroon scuff pads. Around the moldings where the scuff pad didn't work well I used a stainless steel wire brush. Painted it with my old Binks no.7 paint gun outdoors On a calm day with DuPont acrylic automotive enamel with a catalyst. Paint is still on it and it has been outdoors since. If you can do a search there was a fellow several years past that painted his Corvair with a foam roller and Rustoleum. it came out very nice.	marly	05/02/12 08:47pm	Travel Trailers

RE: Plexi glass in bottom of screen door The thickness will depend on the width of the channel in you door. Sounds like a good idea. We have used patterned aluminum mesh or screen to do a similar job but I had to pop rivet it on. It worked. You may want to explore making a piece for the upper half of you door. RE: Friends of Bill W. I'm not going to be much help but here in Nebraska we have a group that has a sign they put out with a triangle in a circle with a coffee pot over a fire. Instant recognition. RE: Deer avoidance system ? In doing body repair and painting for over 30 years many of the cars that hit deer had the whistles on them. I have one on my 1940 John Deere B and haven't had a deer near it since the tree farm surrounding my house put a deer fence around my place.
