replaced the gasket, tried 2 gaskets but now think the plastic faucet has a crack from when I first took it off! Anyone know of a better, stronger shower faucet that might stand up better?

Need help with leaking shower hose.
While trying to increase the flow in my shower I removed the hose from the faucet, it was really tight but came off with some persuasin. I replaced the shower head and took out any restricters but when I reinstalled the hose I couldn't get it to stop leaking! Tried teflon tape, pump pliers gently but still leaking. Any thoughts out there?

Some interesting reading here...I guess I bought the only Dutchman that hasn't had any problems! I purchased a slightly used (6 months) 2008 Denali 5'er and have practically no problems at all. I upgraded the tires and suspension and a few cosmetic things but nothing major! Fit and finish is good, no frame cracks that I can see and it pulls like a dream. No complaints on this one! I have had this 5er for 3 years, use semi-fulltime, it doesn't have all the glitz of higher priced units but I'm a happy camper with my 2008 Dutchman Denali.

Either make a reservation or plan to arrive early. It's not very big but a welcome overnight spot before Vegas. Plan early or you could be SOL.

This is my 3rd snowbird season, arrived in Ft. Mohave yesterday. It was 95 degrees today and the skies are blue and I know it's just pouring rain back home in BC. Will be here till end of March!

What was the highest fuel price you spotted heading south?
For us the average in Washington State,Oregon and Idaho averaged about $4.05 per gallon of diesel! By the time we got to Jackpot, Nevada it was up to $4.489, Wells was $3.89 and if that's not bad enough....$5.319 in Furnace Creek, Death Valley. I wouldn't fillup but got just enough to get to Pahrump safely.

I'm leaving on Oct. 14th with my lady friend, stopping in Prosser,Wa, Mountain Home Idaho, Ely on to Death Valley and Pahrump before spending the winter months in Ft. Mohave,Az. It's close to the casinos and Vegas isn't far, we use this as a hub for adventures in all directions that sound interesting! Just hope the wind lets up a bit this winter. This will be my 3rd Snowbird tour returning home the end of March!

Replaced the 15" wheels and Chinese tires with 225/75/16" Commercial TA's along with wet bolt kit...leaving for Arizona in 2 weeks ..can't wait to see the difference!!
