RE: 08 ROO 232 Slide Motor?

Thanks Dan, I will check that out in parallel.
Skip, I did check the slide manually and I had no issues manually moving the slide so it doesm't appear to be binding. This slide only has one track and I could not find any adjustments on it if it was binding. I will take another look at it to be sure. Thanks,
Steve

08 ROO 232 Slide Motor?

Hey Guys,
I have an 08 Rockwood Roo 232 with a single slide. As the summer went on the slide was having troubles coming in and you would hear the clutch pack make the slipping sound like when the slide is all the way in or out. On the last trip, I could not get it to go in by itself. If I pushed on the slide while my wife held the button it went in. I checked for binding but it all seems ok. I am thinking there may be an issue with the slide motor itself. The slide appears to be made by M-Tec and the motor on it is a Thomson-Saginaw. Can these motors be rebuilt or do I just need to buy a new one? I have been trying to do some googling about this but cannot find out much about this motor or anyone that sells it? I know someone on here will be able to point me in the right direction! Thanks! :B
