RE: I 15 South through Salt Lake City and Provo

Oil Patch, Hey we just left SlC this morning around 9:30 and drove to Saint George thru the SLC and PROVO construction. WE took Legacy Parkway to I-215 on the west side of SLC. Rejoined I-15 at the south interchange and continued south on I-15 to Payson and onward. You know more traffic than I expected BUT better road conditions to my pleasant surprise. The route you mentioned is really out of the way but pretty. We were quite lucky with the weather...nearly a record warm day in SLC today. There were alot of your countryman on the roads today also....SO follow their lead and come on down. Our first snowbird trip....headed for Surprise Az...Jan..Feb and Mar. Already feels like we made the right decision. You and yours travel safe.. M.J.McKay ,

Ted, If you haven't checked already...There are a number of RV Resorts listed in the USAPA..."where to play" listing. We love the sport...fun, social and did I mention its a blast. We are heading to the PHX area Jan 1. Our first snowbird trip and the Rv Resort has 8 Pickleball courts. Yahoo..........From what I understand there is Lots of PB throughout FL. Have a great time. Happy Trails or Palm Creek

Will be in Arizona Jan thru Mar at one of these resorts. We enjoy Pickleball, Golf and walking. Looking forward to your comments if you've stayed at one of these parks. What did you enjoy or not and why. We'll be in our 5th wheel with a dog. Thanks in advance. To all a Blessed Thanksgiving. Safe Travels, M.J. McKay

RE: San Diego - Chula Vista RV vs. KOA

KD, Have a great stay. This past March my wife and I were visiting family. We also were considering the same parks as you. We were told about Sweetwater County park (Summit) in Bonita. Very quite, FH $28.00 a night much more reasonable than either KOA or Chula Vista. They have a newer section and the older locations. We stayed in the older part as we enjoyed the big trees. Might check it out. I/We would certainly stay there again. Safe Travels, M.J.McKay

RE: San Diego Area - Recent Stays

Hello, We recently returned from SAN mid April. We stayed in Bonita at Sweetwater Summit on the recomendation of a gentleman on this forum. About 22.00 a day, close enough to everything for us, water and electric in the old section. They do have a brand new area with sewer but we enjoyed the large trees in the older area. Have a great visit. Travel Safe, M.J.McKay
