Well De-Wayne, the clock has stopped ticking. :B
Went to pick the rig up this morning and it is in great shape. Nice and clean. Oh, and now it is going to rain. LOL.
Checked the millage on the RV, it has just over 23,000 on it. Then got a good laugh. I had to take mom's car in for a slow tire leak. Her car has 20,300 miles on it. LOL. I think you call that a cream puff!
How's Lil doing, was the winter good to her?

Luxury RV is the closest to the beach and is a nice place to stay. You can walk to the beach but you will have to drive to the beach from all other campgrounds.
Luxury RV is closer to the beach than Gulf Shores State Park???

Stayed at the Williamsburg KOA once and that was enough. It would be OK for a pop-up or tents but too many trees and narrow poorly marked roads for us.

RE: Just picked up our new Redwood
Congrats on your new Redwood.
We toured the Redwood factory in Syracuse IN last June and they are fully owned by Thor but operate independently as Redwood. The factory is three buildings that were in place when production started but 5 older buildings on site were removed.
We were really impressed with the quality and finish of the units and the fact that they are continually adding new floorplans and listening to RVers about design ideas.

We can recommend Natural Bridge State Park east of Lexington. It has water and electric hookups and a dump station. They offer a tram/cable car type ride to the Natural Bridge on top of the mountain. It is a Kentucky State Park Resort with a pool, lodge, and limited nearby shopping.

Just got home from our spring break trip- camper is empty, Jen & Corey are home, back to work tomorrow.
What a fun time we had though!
Great job on another fun camping trip!
(yes, it's true....it was 85 here last Wednesday and Thursday, part of 4 consecutive days with record highs)

"...the magistrate need more time to research the law." Don't these magistrates and judges get info on a case BEFORE the case is heard??? I had a judge reschedule a child support hearing with two couples and two attorneys present because she thought a rep from Child Support should attend. It was one of those days I wish I had a roll of duct tape for my head so it didn't explode.

Had some SERIOUS rain and hail this morning. Got about 5" of rain in about 2 hours. Hebron, which is where my parents live about 5 miles from here, was totally flooded. Drove down to check on M&D and there were emergency response people all over the place. The strom went throught this morning and there were still piles of hail all over.
We had quarter of an inch but alot of lightning and thunder. How did M&D do?

Two more signs of spring today, the turtles were on the logs in the wetlands sunning themselves, their first day out of the water and mud.
Also while walking Maggie I heard an air conditioner running at a house, it was 78 today tying the record from 1995. The extended forecast is for the upper 70's the next 7 days. Who-Hoo!

It was 73 here today and I saw another mosquito! It won't bite anyone since it was smashed...
The 7 day outlook is for highs in the 70's until Tuesday and then a high of 80. This string of 70's will set a record for the most consecutive 70 degee days this early in the year. This is the type of climate change I can support.
Enjoy camping in this bonus month.
