RE: 2013 Attitude F39TSG, CRACKS around pin box.

If it is brand new, take it back to the dealer and drop it off. Let him fix it.

RE: Toy Haulers: I'm tired of tires

But I guess you TT toy hauler owners feel you have NOTHING in common with these other toy hauler RV'ers. :( Fun Mover-Probably THE most popular toy hauler. That's absurd. Truly. Thanks for educating us on what a Toy Hauler is (sort of). :R Attitude Check: FAILED Please show yourself to the door. Uh yeah..... how many Weekend Warriors do you think exist out there???? A whole lot more than any Fun Mover...... I could barely fit my paddle tires for my sand rail in that little garage. rockhillmanor, click on the link in my signature if you want to see a real toyhauler. And the other link shows what toy goes in it!!! :)

RE: Toy Haulers: I'm tired of tires

dedmiston, in the tire thread that you closed, did HTElectrical send you that in a PM and you posted it in a closed thread??????? That isn't fair that he got the last word in....... HAHAHAHAHA I'm just joking.

RE: Loose Nut Indicators

I use the same principle on my sand rail trailing arm bolts. I use a sharpie and draw a line across the bolt and nut. I check them all the time and I can tell when the nuts start loosening up. But no, I haven't used them on my toy hauler. From the title of this and the other post, I thought this was going to be a list of forum members that dedmiston is calling crazy....... LOL

RE: How do you secure you atv/suv to the floor?

4 straps, 1 on each corner. I attach mine to the rear grab bar and then somewhere on the front. Compress the suspension. For my rail, I go over the rear paddles. I use ratchet straps everytwhere. Those pull ones can loosen up.

RE: Confused On Lug Nut Torque

85-120 is a lot of latitude. I would torque to 100, recheck at 50 miles, and leave them alone. Me Too! Yep, what they said. Also, the aluminum wheesl on my F-350 torque to 150lbs., so aluminum can take it. Lookin forward to the Crab Festival! The high torque on the wheels for a Superduty is due to the hub centering wheel. There is no taper so the lug nut pushes directly onto the flat surface of the wheel. That requires a higher torque than a wheel with a taper in the lug nut hole. The wheels with a taper are considered lug centric. Super duty OEM wheels are considered hub centric.

RE: LT tires, or Trailer tires... Whats best ?

There was no closeout from Michelin. Do you think they stopped selling the Ribs? Someone tried to post the same thing last year about Ribs being that cheap, again, they were never able to prove the selling point. I call BS on that response.

RE: Pull 30' Wolfpack toy hauler with '07 Chevy Tahoe??

I owned a 30' toyhauler, no way is a Tahoe going to pull that. My F250 with the diesel got a work out towing that trailer. Step up to a real truck to tow something like that.

RE: WW Generator Fuel Gauge

When I got my Warrior, it was doing the same thing. Found an electrical issue at the sending unit, loose wire. Fixed that and no more issues. For Warriors, you will have to drop the tank to replace the sending unit.

RE: Blew 3 tires in 24 hours

ST tires? If so, not surprised. On a 2 axle trailer, when 1 tire blows, the other tire takes all of the weight for a short amount of time. I have read that when you blow 1 tire, the other tire should be replaced due to it being overloaded for an amount of time. On a triple axle trailer, same idea, but obviously you have 2 other tires to split the weight between.

RE: LT tires, or Trailer tires... Whats best ?

225/75, 245/75, 235/85. Any of those will give you plenty of load carrying capacity on your axles. Ok, now we're getting somewhere. What is the best size out all those 3 ? I like the Rib, but would like to get away less expensive and still be just as dependable, is that possible ? Think I can get away with a cheaper Michelin, or that BF Commercial TA and not be separating and blowing out??? Best size for load rating is the 235/85. Best size for size is 225/75. The 225 is also lighter so that means less rolling resistance. Yes, I think the BFG Commercial will do just fine as well as the LTX Michelin. A buddy of mine put the LTX and his big Warrior and puts a 3500lb sand rail in it. 3 years with no issues.

RE: LT tires, or Trailer tires... Whats best ?

The 3 axles are rated at 6815# each, and the front tongue is rated at 24,600#. Are you saying the trailer's certification label/tire placard depicts your axles as each having a GAWR of 6815#??? FastEagle I stand corrected. Good catch FastEagle... The actual axle rating is, WW FSW3200 certification label/tire placard says GAWR of 6645# not 6815. http://www.a1warriortrailers.com/fsw.htm http://bellsouthpwp.net/a/l/allcool/fsw%20specs.JPG You can't use 16" LT tires on those axles unless they are LRG. FastEagle FastEagle, Why?

RE: LT tires, or Trailer tires... Whats best ?

Not many choices for you on LT tires due to the derated 7K axles. The typical LT235/85R16 LR E tire talked about by many here XPS Rib, R250 don't have enought capacity. Not sure that holds true for me. Six, 3042# tires, would get me to 18,252 total tire load. 5252lbs more than my Toy Haulers 13,000 max fully loaded rating. Even If I overload it to 16,000# still 2252# below the tire limit, no? Or am I thinking all wrong here? Thats why I posted this in an above post... It never made sense to me that the max gvwr is 13,000 but it has three 6645# axles. That would mean the combined axles are capable of 19,935#... so why only the 13,000 GVWR ??? If the frame is the reason why, then why put axles on that are way over the frames capability ? Why not use cheaper 5000lbs axles with 15 inch tires. Three 5000lbs axles would still give more than enough load to support the 13,000 TH gvwr...? Nope, you are correct in your thinking. 225/75, 245/75, 235/85. Any of those will give you plenty of load carrying capacity on your axles.

RE: WW Generator Fuel Gauge

Are both tanks doing the same thing? I was going to say you have a bad float in the tank, but if both are doing the same thing, it has to be electrical.

You have alot more tongue weight than that. I have a tongue weight scale and when I had a FS3000 Warrior, my unloaded tongue weight was 1400lbs. With full water and no toys, 1700lbs of tongue weight. With full water and toys, back down to 1400lbs of tongue weight.
