RE: Hanging pictures

I use Velcro on everything I hang up ... that way they can be removed, cleaned and replaced ... If its going to be a heavy item I would use the industrial version. as stated above .. make sure you wipe the area with Alcohol .. that why it holds good.

RE: Newbie need advise for nnew TT

Friends bought the extended warranty on their Denali, when they had a delam on the front it wasn't covered. I would say no to all and shop around. Not sure where you are located, if on the lower mainland go check out BCRV and ask for Scot.

RE: Gray tank sensors

Ignore the sensors, they rarely work properly. Try some baking soda down the drain if it's really bugging you. Basically when the water starts coming up the shower drain it's time to empty the tank!

This is the worst advice I have ever read. The reason is when the gray tank water starts to come up the shower it stinks terrible. Best thing is to solve the problem the right way. Many people are just too tight to use the proper chemicals that will keep the gray and black tanks clean. We use enzyme type solution. An organic substance that is produced in plant and animal cells and causes changes in other substances by catalytic action. We use Happy Camper. It is a bit expensive, but it keeps the sensors clean all the time and when you dump does not smell at all to where sometimes people that do not use anything run the neighbors out of the campground.
Calm down RayChez, this was partly a joke as most everyone's tank sensors don't work properly. I do use chemical in the grey. I do look at the sensors but don't get bent if the black says full when I know it's not. With use you get to know your tanks. I have NEVER had my grey come up the shower in our new TT, the old one on occasion but no big deal

RE: Replacing RV mattress

We bought the Costco memory foam so did our friends. At first it's like laying on a cloud, but in the morning our backs hurt so bad it had to come off.

We had fittings in our kitchen and bathroom taps crack in much warmer temps than that. Good luck.

Arctic Fox all the way!! Try the Fox Mt, in that price range. Foxes aren't cheap or light but great quality

RE: How much do you pay for Kuerig Kcups?

A lot of the stores you folks talk about we don't have in Canada, especially PG! The other thing we have to watch is shipping and brokerage fees, sometimes we luck out other times we are taken to the cleaners!! On the Keurig site it warns you several times if you are ordering the correct product.

RE: How much do you pay for Kuerig Kcups?

We have a local company called Super coffee, if you buy at least 8 boxes it's $.66. They unfortunately can't get our favorite brand anymore so have been getting it directly from Keurig. When you register your brewer you get two free boxes when you purchase 2 boxes. So four boxes delivered for $30. Free delivery and no brokerage fees on your first order. Works out to be about $.31. When that's all gone it's back to trying to find the sales. London Drugs has good sales every now and again, so does Future Shop. Costco most definitely has the best prices but I find what they sell is too bland for us. Good luck and register that brewer!!

RE: cleaning water lines

We use about a cup, we have a large tank though. You can put in a little less. Let it sit for a while, over night even. Drain, fill, drain, fill, drain. Should be just fine.

RE: Did you buy or make a new gadget you can't wait to try?

We just bought one as well, went camping for Easter and missed ours from home. Quick trip to Walmart and fixed the problem! Now the home one has to go back as it's not working properly anymore.... it's only 7 months old... darn.

RE: Saratoga Beach Vancouver Island

Are you staying at the Miracle Beach Provincial campsite? There is beach access from there as well as down the road towards Pacific Playgrounds. We are not personally fond of Pacific Playgrounds but if you have kids it's good for them. If you want something a little more peaceful we prefer Salmon Point on the other side of the river. Either way it's a gorgeous area, enjoy

My brother in law has a Wind River by Outdoor, they are very happy with it. I would think the "Nash" group wouldn't put their name on it if it wasn't decent. I am a little biased though! (see sig!)
