RE: Anaheim Harbor RV Park

So what's across the street?
2oldman,
I found this place to be much cleaner, and they have a professionally run office. The address is 333 West Ball Road Anaheim CA 92805 ( http://www.anaheimrvvillage.com ) And There is one more park in the area called Anaheim Resort RV Park ( http://www.anaheimresortrvpark.com ) But I have never been there.
I have stayed at both parks mentioned above. Anaheim Resort RV Park does not have fenced in security where Anaheim RV Village does and their rates are higher. We have experienced high wind conditions here in So. Cal. and maybe this was part of their cleanup or annual maintenance. I do hope your family did enjoy Mickey and the rest of the bunch!:)

RE: Continental vs Toyo

If you are only going to put on 5,000 miles or so a year. I would go with the least expensive ones. They will need replacing before you wear them out. Both are good brands. So are Hankook and Yokohamas!
Good luck!

RE: 2005 Tiffin 40QDH Rear Breaker panel location

Check your GFI recepticle in the bathroom and see if is working correctly. Also check the invertor in the passenger side storage underneath and make sure both circuit breakers are in the "on position". If you are referring to the 12V lighting system there are fuses in the same panel under the fridge. If you shorted the circuit and now all lights are out, probably a fuse. Other than that may have a lose wire that feeds the lights somewhere?
Good luck!

RE: Got to drive a D.P....wow what a difference......!!!

After owning diesel pickup trucks for over 20 years and steering away from the fifth wheel after another ten years, there was no way I was going to buy a class A gasser. First class A we have ever owned and it is a diesel. Very comfortable and a pleasure to drive.

RE: How to Adjust Slide Out

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the suggestions. It is a motor driven slide out and I will try and spray Protectall slide out spray that has been recommended. Also the batteries could be an issue as well. Thanks again I will continue to trouble shoot and fill you in on what I find.

How to Adjust Slide Out

I am having a problem with my bedroon slideout. It will only slide about half way then stops. Any ideas on how to make adjustments. I have been under the bed spraying the guide rail with silicone, still no luck:h
Thanks

RE: Tires

Yokohama RY023 16 ply. Good tires. Hankooks are also becoming very popular with the RV industry.
Good luck!

RE: Looking for New Diesel Pusher - Seeking Opinions

Lots of good suggestions on what MH to buy. As with anything there are always bound to be problems. Kinda like Ford versus Chevy. They all have problems of some sort. Floor plan, storage, fit and finish, engine size (hp & torque) all need to be in your equation. Make darn sure that the bathroom and kitchen meet your wife's criteria. I will say that I would buy something 2-3 yrs. old rather than brand new.
Good luck;)

RE: Class A fuel economy for diesel pushers

7.5-8.5 towing our 3100# HHR. 40' Tiffin 4 slides 350HP CAT @ 62mph in economy mode. Once you factor in hills and wind, mileage will decrease to around 7mpg.

RE: slide topper & wind

How about disconnecting the bracket on the slide out to the awning? Then you can use your slide out and keep the awning rolled up.
Good luck!;)

RE: Kudos to Yokohama Tires

I had the Yokohama RY023 16 ply installed on my MH back in March and I feel there was a big difference in the way they handled versus GY. Seems odd to me the problems you are discribing, especially on a DP. Glad your problem was resolved. ;)

RE: 101 going South in California

Doesn't the 126 become Newhall Ranch Road at I5 and travel through Santa Clarita and drops you off at Golden Valley Road and the 14? I know this project was in the works and thought the work was completed. One way to avoid the highway traffic.
Yes it is! :B

RE: Any Fleetwood (Terra) owners..........

What exactly would you consider better quality? Winnebago, thor, newmar, etc? I really want to stay under $80k so I am pretty much entry level in any manufacturer. Ive found that In used coaches my price range brings me to around a 4 yr old coach with tube tvs and full carpeted rigs, etc, etc. I am also a little leary of buying used and getting someone elses problem child. One last consideration is that new i get 4.99% financing whereas used i will be at 6.5 to 6.9%.
I really liked the newmay baystar 2902 as far as fit and finish and interior quality. But i didnt like the 18k chassis, 4 kw genny, and several other things. The best i could get the dealer down to was $89k. So for $11k less i get a Terra fully loaded on a 22k chassis, dual pane windows, stainless appliances and convection oven, dual ac with heat pump, bunk over drivers area, manual satellite dish, two flat screens, surround sound, etc... But I am sitting here afraid to pull the trigger because im worried about QUALITY. These forums just freak you out about quality of these things!!!
Tiffin, Newmar to start. I have had friends with Fleetwood products that have been in for repairs way too much. Just saying that a well cared for used RV maybe a better option and save you on sales tax. BTW just refinanced my USED RV and received 4.43%.
Good luck :R
