RE: Conventional hitch with short bed truck.

I'm still not sure why the fascination with turning sideways. Those with TTs can't turn that sharp yet somehow they get their rigs backed into the same sites 5er's use. How is that possible??? :W For the record, I have a slider that does nothing more than add weight and expense. Maybe someday I'll use it. :R - Dave

RE: My plans re. City water at a campsite.

I'm thinking you're over thinking the whole thing. How many RVs are there out there connected to water supplies with no problems (with or without a regulator)? Compared to the number of actual problems associated with high water pressure. Do the math, hook up what ever you got and be done with it.

RE: Excel file question

Click on the cell with the correct formula. In the lower right portion of that cell, you will see a small black square. Click (and hold) on the that and drag down the number of cells you want to copy it to, you can do as many as you want. When you release the mouse button, it will paste the formula into each cell AND update the formula as required because of the differnt row numbers.

RE: Over hitch weight towing capacity (workarounds)?

Lightening up the hitch weight may also have adverse towing effects.

RE: 5ver Storage During Earthquake

Honestly, I think overall you'd be better off in an RV that a stick and brick during an earthquake cause it's decided to move which is want you want during a quake. - Dave

RE: iPad GPS apps

We use Motionx Drive GPS on our iPhone and we like it. The only thing it's lacking (for us) is lane information and POIs. - Dave

RE: My Bucking Trailer

PIN WEIGHT PIN WEIGHT PIN WEIGHT
Did I mention that your pin weight is most likely too light. My fresh water tank is up front and it makes a huge difference full -vs- empty. Dave

RE: 3GS iPhone Sync Problem

Not much help, but I have Outlook 2007 and can sync it with my MNokia flip phone without a problem. Might be time to upgrade your Outlook.

RE: Words That Melt My Brain

Actually, no.
You "spay" a female. Such an animal has not been "spaded", it has been "spayed".That was my point, which evidently was lost. A male cannot be "spaded" nor can a female.
Of course you can..A mean dog came up and bit me. Luckily I had that shovel handy and I spaded him. He won't bite no more. :)

RE: Recycling (or lack of it) at campgrounds

Recycling is in most (if not all) Michigan State Parks. In the area we live we have voluntary recycling which seems to be very popular. People that don't believe in recycling are very short sighted.
